WRITERS BLOCK

    i need help thinking of different topics to write about, i tend to stick around the same storyline and this leaves my poems all really similar. any suggestions?

    Well.. Poetry should be natural, come from the soul. If all your poems sound the same, thhen thats how it is. Just try to use different words and styles of writing to avoid toomuch simalarity. If the message is the same, thats fine!

    write a bunch of different words and stick them in a hat then draw out like two or three or even four if you want and then write about the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of them

    Sometimes I won't writer for weeks, but right after that, I produce one of the best poems. Your creativity just ends up building up into words that can beat any poem you just try on.

    It's a natural feeling poets have that things just flow out, so don't push yourself too hard.
