Luckily, when I was younger I never had to deal with that kind of thing. My two best friends wrote poetry, actually they are the one's that got me started writing. |

Yeah it happens to me too. Its going to. Some friends are like that. A few of mine arent but for the most part they are. You just have to turn it around. Like the person above me said, you dont have to be depressed or in love to write, there are a million other things you could write about, friendship, nature, something funny, make it your own. |

None of my friends write, and they don't know that I do, neither does my family. It is just an outlet for my emotions...and most of the time, my friends or family wouldn't understand. |

Dont worry what others think...and if they were your friends they wouldn't judge you, and they would understand fully... its happened to me a few times...they look down on because of the words in my poems...but i just over look it and move on.. and i just keep writting...just do the same... |

My friends don't really know. I think my best friend dows, but she doesn't care. It's not like she's actually seen some stuff I wrote. Even though I wrote 'Poet At Heart' on my binder, no one really cares. of course, Tyler was like 'Poet...At...Heart..that's stupid. Your not a poet.' and he still doesnt belueve me, but oh well |

Listen. Many ppl have been chastised for their work. Poets are no exception. If ppl want to know why you write poetry. Tell them you do it for the same reason they do what they do. It is what You were called to do. |
