Just in need for a lil advice

My parents separated last august because my father was abusing my mom and us kids. we are currently in the process of trying to get the divorce finalized. my dad says he never did anything but we all know he did. Court is on monday the 8th and i have to testify i am really scared... I don't knwo what to do.

Be honest its for your and your families safety, the abuse of women and children is so wrong on so many accounts. I know you feel a certain obligation to your dad which is understandable and your fear is completely justified BUT where was his love and loyalty to you and your family thru all this

When thing I always think about when I could have taking a kid to court for sexual harrassment and i didnt because i was too scared.. i regret it everyday.. I think well maybe because my actions of Not doing anything he will do that to someone else and I dont want them to go threw what i did.

I know how you feel. I have to testify on how my uncle and my brother-in-law molested and almost raped me. Stay Strong!!

This has to be difficult for you. But you know what you have to do. You've got to testify so that you're dad can't hurt your mom or you any longer. Just take a deep breath in before you sit at the stands or whatever, and relax. Just let i all flow out! Tell what the judge needs to know, let it go.
