Springtime Love - Skry

You began your life as a delicate seed
sown in a fertile soil
Slowly you pushed out your fragile roots
and cautiously began to uncoil
Never can we know when we begin this life
what we will become
but everyone strives towards the light
ever pushing on
As the delicate seed became a shoot
searching for sun's warm rays
firmly rooted in a rich bed of earth
growing, exploring every day
The years passed by relentlessly
winters waxed and waned
The shoot became a budding flower
despite the autumn rains
I know that beauty exists
within the springtime buds
Cautiously waiting to expose themselves
to the summer's loving sun
The beauty of the rose within
makes me want to cry
Anticipating luxurious red petals
waiting for the time
when caution shall be thrown to the wind
the majesty finally exposed
when the scent that fills the thick heavy air
will be the pervading scent of the rose
I patiently wait until that day
the bud will become the rose
finally open unto the world
it's beauty the sun to show

With you I believe

My life alone, is full of darkness,
There is too much to handle, so much stress.
The day I met you, my life turned around,
It's like you swept me up from the ground.

Do you feel the way I feel?
Tell me, are my feelings real?
You make me believe, that I can live,
Now I finally have a motive.

Thanks to you, I can finally breathe again,
You make me feel like your the perfect ten.
With you, I can live on, so please, AJ please,
If I need to I'll get down and beg on my knees!

With you, I'll believe, that no matter what happens,
I feel that when I'm around you, I can climb moutains!
Give me a sign, that you're here for me,
Say that you can help me believe.

Tell me that together we can fly,
Anything I believe, when you're around.

BY THE CALMNESS OF THE MOONLIGHT

I don`t know how to begin;
This night seems to wash away all sin.

It`s a full moon night,
And the moon is bright;
My thoughts are flooded by this light-
So pure, so white

I look at the moon and now I smile,
After a long time I feel I`m alive.
The cool breeze brushes my face,
After a long time I`m out of the daze.

I just want to fall into the sky,
But not because you`ve told me goodbye;
Don`t get me wrong, I don`t want to die,
I just want to get near the moonlight.

I stare upwards at the moonlit sky,
And now I begin to fly;
I begin to sail higher,
The moonlight soothes my inner fire.

Though I hardly get closer,
That little is enough to inspire.

Not you and not even your kiss,
No sunset, no rainbow, is prettier than this.
Now I feel joy, and now I feel bliss!
You`re not there, but there is nothing I miss.

The sun`s never made the sky brighter,
Even angels cannot make it whiter.
About you I think not, I`m no liar-
I just want to keep going higher!

A cloud now covers the beautiful moon,
I`m in a trance, and I drift to a swoon.

But the breeze picks up and the darkness dies,
And once again I begin to fly;
I`m not thinking about you, this isn`t a lie,
Without you too, I`m so high.

But now my mind begins to worry,
The moon shall begin to wane in a hurry;
But I`m not scared of losing the moon,
I`m afraid of falling back into gloom.

For when the moon will set, the light shall end,
And my thoughts shall break free;
Into the world, gloom`s all I`ll send,
Because that`s all I`ll have with me.

Now let me take you into my soul,
Isn`t the moon so full and whole?
But if you want to know what is contrast,
Then just have a look at my broken heart.

The moon doesn`t always shine,
Yet it shall always be;
I cannot call you mine,
Still you shall stay in me.

Dhaval

Love On A Cold Winter Day

As the snow falls, the frost tumbles down
Covering houses, freezing lakes
The white shroud of winter, wearing it’s crown
Amidst the snow cloud, the sleepy town wakes

The beauty of Winter, the silver ice
Clear and shining, striking white
Encircled by the frosty vice
Of winter, as it stalks the night

The bitter, freezing, winter’s eve
Frostbite, cold, no wood for fire
Sometimes its beauty can deceive
It's cruel and twisted, raw desire

And yet, as Winter takes its grip
It's frosty hand, freezing all
A single figure does not slip
Upon the ice, they do not fall.

Shining gold, with eyes ablaze
Winters hand is turned around
By the figure with the fiery gaze
Winter, defeated without a sound

As I sat, cold and alone
Winter struck, with icy glove
Until the figure touched my home
And warmed my broken heart with love

No longer can I feel the frost
I know you're here and here to stay
Never again, alone or lost
But loving, on this cold winters day

The winter came back,
as it did last year.
But I am no logner safe,
I have everything to fear.

But what hurts the most,

Where did we go wrong?
Please tell me this,
without how can I be strong?

What I wouln't do,
for that amazing, wonderful bliss.
What a wouldn't to,
for just one more kiss.

Her memory he cant seem to erase
He doesn't know why anyone would want to
she had such intelligence along with elegance and grace

With Her smile engraved in his head
He cant help but to think about how beautiful
she looked on the day that they wed

His knees were shaking as she walked up the aisle
His mind filled with worries and fears
But they soon flew away when she smiled

He loved the way her hand always found his
The way she laughed The way she smiled
He just loved the way She is

They loved each other with every piece of their heart
No matter how hard anyone tried
no one could tear them apart

She was his best-friend ,she was always there
He'd never leave her side
love like theres was rare

He held her up into the very second she died
Laying with her letting all emotions go
He saw no point in hiding his feelings inside

They had Once in a lifetime love
One that will always last forever
One They'll restart when he enters heaven above

Love or Lust??

I didn’t know how to feel,
Wasn’t sure what I wanted.
I thought I liked you, but
I just wanted to be friends.
Didn’t want anything more.

You took me out on a date.
Held my hand as we walked.
And then kissed me on the lips,
As you dropped me off that night.
I think I’m starting to fall for you.

We walked to class together.
Then you started to kiss me,
Each day before you went home.
That’s when we became
boyfriend and girlfriend.

We’ve been together 6 months.
Something I hadn’t intended.
You are now leaving for college
We have something to figure out
Is this love or lust??

With out you, How do I survive?

you left me here with out so much as goodbye,
but you took my heart and I don't know why,
you told me you loved me and then you took it back,
inside me I know theres something I lack,

was it really you or was it me,
how could you leave me how could this be,
you promised me forever but gave me little time,
so I'm writing you this poem with every line that rhymes,

we'd talk on the phone for hours on end,
you'd write me letters until there was nothing more to send,
why did you have to walk away from everything we had,
was it something I said or did I make you mad,

I can't live without you because Without you, how do I survive?

~Show Me The Way~

A relationship bound by the court,
two parents yearning to abort.
One child's postpartum deport,
a life, from the start, out of sorts.

The help of two elders, they sought,
a custody battle, never fought.
Drug addict parents, got caught,
important lessons, never taught.

A baby that was left behind,
consequences of a legal bind.
A lifestyle of a different kind,
viewpoints from a distorted mind.

A family separated by years in time,
a life with a different rhythm and rhyme.
Two people, making up for another's crime,
always living off of their last dime.

A difficult situation from the start,
a unique picture, of an unpopular art.
A family, nearly torn apart,
two grandparents, certainly, off the charts.

An unwanted boy, now full grown,
held together by seams, left un-sewn.
Approaching life with a whole different tone,
hoping, some day, to live life on his own.

Until The End Of Time

Though my body has lost you,
my mind just won't let go.
It keeps reminding me,
over and over,
that I have made a foolish mistake.

As if I don't already know.
As if I can actually fix it.
As if it doesn't hurt.

But it's too late.
It's all over.

I do know,
what I have lost.
My mind is shattered,
and this feeling tears at my soul,
over and over.
I have lost you forever.
The words,
will repeat themselves inside my head,
over and over,
till the end of time.

Am I too late?
