prom...should I or no?

alright I'm really not the sort to be picky about having a date for such pointless school events like prom but
it's my senior prom. I'm not sure if I want to go or not, but I definately know I would prefer to go with a REAL date. Not with my girls (although I do love them to death) but an actual guy who I have some form of a connection and can tolerate to be around for more then an hour.

The thing is that I WAS asked by a guy but I haven't really answered him yet. See he's one of my good friends I've known since freshman year and he's kind of a pain at times but still really funny and it's awesome to hang with him...I just don't see him as anything beyond that. he's always kissing me on the cheek or the neck or tickling me or making comments about me looking like Barbie or that I'm so beautiful, and I can't help but get this feeling that there's more then just a 'friendship' going on in his head. I want to go to prom with someone I have a mutual interested in romantically, but if I don't get asked by anyone else I won't have a date in the end.

Should I just stop being picking and go with my friend or hope for Prince Charming to come along?

Go to the prom with some friends. Then you can just wait to see if anyone asks you to dance, or just have a good night with your friends. My sister didnt go, because she didnt want to wear a dress. She not a dress person, but even when I persuaded her to try some on, she just thought she felt fat. She didnt go and only went to the after party (where she got plastered :D) but she regreted it. If you dont go you will regret it too! Dont waste this opputinity to dress up and have some fun! If you have feelings for your friend, go with him, if not, let him down gently. I stayed friends with a guy that asked me out, and our relationships stayed exactly the same. Hope this helped! xxxx

go with some friends, i went with the person i really liked and i ended up having a sh*tty time, i wouldve rather gone alone with friends then have to worry about my date and if she was having a good time or not.

Go, I know a lot of people who regret not going. You could always go with a bunch of friends;)
