Poem called "Dying In The Corner"

Talks about stress and suicide. (its just a poem, I don't condone suicide)

When I wrote this piece, I had the theme, but the style was a surprise. When I read the first few stanzas, I had to go back and change the rest of the poem to match it. I don't know what style is it.. so I was thinking that someone here would tell me.. or direct me to another poem with the same style. If not, I would love if someone tried the stye.

    Its
1,2,3 where 3's main word appear in the following stanza 3,4,5 ...

    It's called, "The Rag Doll."

It's the point of view from an abuse victim and how they might be dragged to do what other people want them to do instead of listening to them wanting help.

My poem is A Final Prayer. It was one of the first works i've written. And i'm extremely proud of it. And after editing it some over the last few days, it seems better than ever.

    The Military Man:

Yesterday a friend of mine told me what he liked about being in the military and that maybe people who weren't in the military wouldn't understand what it was like. I know I don't understand but I wanted him to know I'd always support him.

    It's called "I Don't Care at All."

I just wrote it... and as you will read I explain how I usually write. I like having all of my poems to flow perfectly and rhyme exactaly. I also have never wrote a poem that didn't follow the ABCB order... until now. I'm proud of it because I was able to finish a poem that didn't reflect on my "RULES" of writing... and I have a 4.5 rating on it. Which I consider pretty good. I like the poem that I put together... but only if all of you other readers like it too... so please be honest if you happen to comment! =]

    It's called Daydreamer

I'm proud of it because in a way, it describes me. And the feeling of the poem is very tranquil, unlike my usual style of sad or dark.

This poem is called "Half A World Away"

This poem contains repetiton, with subtle changes in a few lines per stanza, I wrote it about the love of my life, and the after effects of a very difficult decision. I am proud of this poem because I felt that I did repetiton a tiny shred of justice. I hope you agree.

    Illusion of Strength

    http://www.poems-and-quotes.com/dark/poems.php?id=677863

I'd have to say that I'm proud of this poem because it's the first dark poem (my intrepretation of dark anyways) that I've shared with anyone.

Whether one likes it or not doesn't matter, I'm pleased with the fact that I'm opening up more and willing to share this side of my emotions.

Here's the poem I'm into, at the moment. I've been giving it the fine tooth comb recently, and I must say, I like the way it all came together. I'd say it's an absolutely beautiful poem.

    Statue of Perfection!!!
    http://www.best-love-poems.com/poems.php?id=384153

    A six line sample:

    Beauty, to my eyes,
    A statuesque sculpture, so divine,
Stately, Shapely, and just simply, beautiful,
You’re Sophisticated, Stunning, and I’m just, spelled, by you.
To your beauty, nothing does compare.
There’s nothing that can match, your loveliness.

One of my favs, because I tried in as few words as possible, to convey feelings of guilt, regret and lost love. And to also make this "Last Promise" virtually impossible to keep.

there are couple of poems that I wrote from my heart which make me feel relieved when I read them

    "If My Words.." http://www.best-love-poems.com/poems.php?id=539602

I love this poem because the idea was kinda new to what I mostly write.. and it was very expressive of what I passed through

    "It Took Me...." http://www.best-love-poems.com/poems.php?id=710178

I love this poem for the person it is dedicated to...

"I Need To Hold You Once More", http://www.best-love-poems.com/poems.php?id=677600

it was about my first passionate touch with my bf...

Today my cat went out after dark, and lately I have been hearing really bad cat fights otuside around midnight every night. She's bakc now, but when she wasn't I was worried she would get ina fighrt with whatever that animal was, or a fisher. She has ived with us practically all her life, and I am worried that she might die soon, because she is old and overweight. So whenever she is being lazey, I try to wake her up and just see her move. But today, I wrote a poem about how worried I was when she was out and there are fishers and other animasl bigger then her. I was so worried I was cryinfg. Can you rate my poem?

I am most proud of this because so many people that knew Mick and have read the poem have been moved by it. And only this last week I found that Karma may be at work: his widow/murderer is apparently "unable to cope with life" at the moment. Shame. :-)

Most poetry about life is either positive or negative and not generally the two combined otherwise it then becomes a novel .The Idea behind my poem was to try and point out the pitfalls in life and how easy it is to get stuck in rut ..The other reason I tend to write these type of poems is to get people talking about them and life in general and I thank you for your input

    Peace
