Write about Nature or Love....maybe even friendship.

Instead of writting depressing poetry, try the other side, try writting some happy go lucky type of poetry.

You will expand your knowledge in poetry a great deal.

    Peace, Joe

Yeah, I agree with Joe. You can't just wait for something miserable to happen. If your miserable life inspired your dark and deep poems, then let your wonderful life inspire your wonderful poems.

I, however, can't be so lucky. I live with a twin.

YEah, you gotta make life happen for you. If you sit there and wait for life to pass you by, only HOPING for something to happen, then youre going to miss some good material. If all your poems are about sadness and depression, then you gotta find something good in your life to look at. Find a girl, talk about a friend, find something. There a multiple subjects you can write about.

Write a funny poem about writers block. You made your own subject when you made this post.

Do what i do. Talk to other ppl. Let their pain and misery fuel your writing. Or you can learn to write the happy feelings. Heres an idea, write about your writers block, that is funny.
