I'm trying to write an erotic poem but it just isn't working for me. Does it go smoother if you had sex already? Mine is based on my fantasies but it's not going to well. I just want it to sound as good as Victim of Thoughts or Craig Georgiou's erotic poems. Any advice would be most appreciated. |

I've only successfully written one! It's very hard to do....just don't give up! You may have to put it aside for a while and come back to it. Maybe starting from the beginning like a steamy glance or a sensual kiss and go from there!! Being descriptive and using all five senses is a good idea too. Good Luck! Let me know if you finish it and post it! |

It's the same as you describe any other good poem. I actually visualize them like I'm watching it in a movie and describe what I'm seeing. But I guess when you're writing a sensual poem you wanna actually make it sensual. Adjectives are good too and make sure to keep it in detail, but short enough to make it a poem and not a full on sex story. |

Subtle implications can often be much more effective than a straight story. Also stay away from slang words... they don't make a story sensual... |

You dont need to get laid to write an erotic poem. I know a lot of people that can write what they want to do and they havent been laid yet. |
