WRITERS BLOCK

i have to write a poem for school and it can't be about cutting, death, demons, and etc. i can't think and none of my poems fit the descriptions. i have to write a poem about something and make it have a meaning. i have to make my teacher think.....which is very hard for me. Can anyone help me plz

Experiment ~ Try to write in different places, at different times

Cluster ~ Choose key words and ideas; then write associated ideas and words in clusters around them. This process often forms new ideas.

Routines -- Follow a routine to get into the writing mood. Try activities like wearing comfortable clothing, using a certain pen, or listening to a particular CD or type of music.

Relax ~ The more you worry, the harder it gets to think clearly.

Get away from the desk for a while ~ If you’ve been trying to work for a long time and feel yourself getting frustrated, listen to a CD or the radio or go for a walk

Seek inspiration and feedback from your friends, teachers, or family

Most of all just relax and be yourself
