A BOY I ONCE KNEW

There was a boy i once knew,
and before we knew it so close we grew.

We had our fall out we didn't care,
the making up was always there,

It was special, it felt right,
as we lay there every night.

I felt so loved like someone cared
but he just threw it god knows where.

He lost interest, i lost faith,
god how many times must my heart brake.

i felt so lonely lying there, how come he really does not care,
many thought's ran through my head as i lay there in my bed.

but i had to be strong to forget this boy, cause no longer would we giggle with joy,

an now as i sit awake in my bed i just think of the good times we had instead,

Ummm just wondering, is the contest close because people keep posting new poems. I hope Line did not forget about us lol

I think it should stop at what the limit was so not to confuse people

sorry, I haven't been here, I was celebrating 17th of may (National day in Norway)

I will check out the 40 poems, not the two extras, it stops at the limit

And voila, I am finished. It was hard, but I believe I did it right.

But I have to say, you did an amazing job.

^^ Bob Shank, why the sudden need to say that? I made my desicion, and A final prayer is high quality. Writing mistakes is something that doesn't bother me, everyone has them.

I appreciate what Bob said so much...I really do...We should try to become better at poetry, THAT is what this site is for...and what is wrong if someone gives you a little constructive critisism and not the "gr8 job mate 5/5"???
