ADHD victims....Are we normal?

I am 16 and I was diagnosed with ADHD last year. I've been depressed ever since. The doctors say it was because my mom smoked when she was pregnant with me. I can't help but think that I am not normal. I have DSM-5 ADHD...which means there is a chemical imbalance in my brain and the symtoms that I have are that I cant keep focused and I have anxiety.

Am I alone?

No to be honest you aren't alone, you have ADHD, wow.. To be honest it could be a lot worse.. Think of all those people who have got bipolar affective disorder and schizophrenia etc.. But it still affects your life, you just have to learn to live with it..

I am 16 and i have ADHD and its not because my mom smoked when she was pregnant with me. its because of family inheritance. that means one of your parents or grandparents has it or had it. yes we are as normal as everyone else
