Tell me about youselves...

Hey, My name is Jenna, but most call me Jen or Jen Jen lol ( Yes...much variety, I know ) I was just wondering if anyone would care to tell me a bit about themselves....things like, what type of music you are into and where you live...why you write poetry and what happened to make you start...Funny things you do with friends or future ambitions..lol yes i DO have a life!! lol, i'd just like to hear of your's and this is my very first post and i'd love to get to know some of you :)

My name is Melissa and i just started writing poetry in March 2006!!! Im not sure what inspired me to write!!! I like basketball and any type of food!!! Hi all,

well my name is Lisa Reed, i've been a member of the site for a few years now. Im 26 years old and from Ireland....a few months ago I moved to London...so im currently living there. Im married, have been since I was 21 lol. No children as yet. I started writing at the age of 14 mostly because family back ground and stuff, lot of tension etc so I found it a way of releasing all my negative thoughts i guess....this site has provided me with inspiration, motivation but most of all friends...one of my longest friends on here is Timothy r......a lot of the others have come and gone...they were all lovely people though. Oh as for music well....anything thats in the charts and a lot of the female artist...cant help but sing along lol.

Wow, You all have very interesting lives i must say...Hmm, well I guess i should tell you a bit about me....Im 15 turning 16 on the 6th December this year..I started writing poetry 2 years ago in year 8 when I was going through a depressing stage in my life, I would write really depressing and sad/satanic poems.. but then I met some awesome ppl who helped me be myself again..Now I'm in year 10 and life is great..I have a boy friend of 7 months, the bestest friends a girl could have, a job and a life! I guess it just goes to show, never give up :) But yer, I write about happy stuff now...Hmm..I have a HUGE varitey in music....I love all types of music that make me want to let my hair down and start head banging lol.
I live in Australia in a town called forbes...my parents have split up and i live with mum...My favourite food is Pumpkin soup and im shockingly obssessed with stationary lol

Um a little about me....

I'm not a poet... I just like this site. And i just lost my gold "D" award... it took 2 years of being completely inactive but i finally lost it. :(

Yeah i know, probably not something you could really care about... So lets talk future ambitions. In 6 months time i hope to have posted another 200 other, more or as equally pointless post, and get my GOLD award back :P. If i'm lucky mabe even a platinum award. ^_^

Wow, that would really annoy me if I lost my award!! Spesh if it was a gold one :( But I love to hear that you are going to attempt to get it back!! Thats the way to go!
I love the fact that people are telling me about themselves, I really wanted to get to know some ppl on here, you all have very unique lives and I cant wait to read all your poems ^_^
