I look at the bright side all the time. I have to or I can't survive. So why are most of my over 50 poems sad and depressing? I even have one called "I Cry". thanks for any response |

Jey Jackie, thanks. That's all I can write. I did write one happy poem once. I did it just to see if I could do it. I am a happy person in life, but my life has been hard, maybe like they said, deep down I am sad. |

i believe ones subconscious comes out in a persons writing. If you are mainly happy, then your poems will reflect that. I find that if i want to write about a different emotion to that I am feeling, i need to get myself in that mindset. If this is too difficult, then go with the emotions you are feeling. Either way, you will feel better for getting it down. |
