Im in love but my parents wont let me date him...

Im in love with this guy who i totally like. He likes me back, but my parents won't let me date him, when they dont even know him. what do i do?

well dont forget parents only want whats best for there child. so i think you should get your mum/dad meet this guy and get to know him better. and when they see he is a nicw guy they might let u date him!

if i were you i would ask my parents if they would be willing to let him maybe come over fro dinner so they can at least get to know him before they judge and maybe they will let you date him it worked for me

Your 14 hun your parents probably dont think your ready for a romantic relationship and while you live under there roof - they have rights to you know its for your protection if anything you'd be the same with your own daughter ...

Well...I would think that it has something to do with you being 14, and not really mature enough to go out with someone yet. Just from past experience...that is what I'm thinking.

Who is this guy? Is he the same age or older? If he's older how much older? Can he drive? Does he smoke? What kind of people does he hang out with?

You need have him come over and sit with your parents and talk. You're 14 so if he's older, they aren't going to let you go out with him if they are good parents. Not till you are 16...that was my parents rule and at the time....I hated it. Now that I'm 20, looking back at it, I understand 100% why they did it.

Parents tend to do what they feel is best....exspecially when it comes to girls...we tend to fall harder, give in easier, and get hurt a lot more often. Maybe you should listen to them.
