Comments, votes, solicitation and alienation

Wow I feel bad for posting on the request board. But I learned that while it was a complete waste of time, it did help me make better constructive comments for other people. I'm not going to post on the request board anymore but just comment on other people's poetry. If anybody wants to read mine they'll find them. I'd much rather A) Write because I love it and have wanted to write for years. B) Learn to write better so I can have a better chance to have my dream of being published have better odds maybe.

I have to agree with you Bob....Oops I mean Sluvious.

Marjan is one top writer, and unlike some of the rest I have seen in chatrooms, whose only means of going to chat, is to beg for comments..

    Sad!

Basically there are a few people I trust getting comments from because I know they would tell the absolute truth otherwise I take it most people don't read the poems. I think really we do need more realistic comments but people just aren't willing to give them for fear they'll get theirs taken apart.

*sigh* Is down voting that important to people that they rather not comment honestly just in case they get voted down for it.
