Any body here from Arkansas?

New to this forum. Just wanted to say hi. I live in Arkansas.

I live on the Oklahoma/Arkansas border, it's in a tiny town called Arkoma, Ok. The Arkansas city it borders is Ft Smith.

Wow, your the first person that I know of that has lived that close to me from this site.

I know of a couple of people that live in Oklahoma, but never heard of anyone from Arkansas.

I love it out here in the sticks. There are great big lakes. It really is the land of opportunity. Opportunity for jobs and all kind of stuff to be here.

I do get a bit tired of the redneck jokes though...it isn't at all like Deliverance, lol!

Arkansas is pretty...it's just a shame I'm not as countryfied as I should be, lol!

My Mom is actually from Kansas. I've been to Wichita once, that I can remember anyway. It wasn't near as windy as I thought it would be and I didn't see a single house sitting on top of any witches....lol!
