janis ?

I don't mean to sound stupid or anything but who is Janis??? I read alot about him/her but I dunno who that person is. Could someone please tell me so I can stop wondering?

Arrr, Janis, he is the creator of this wonderful place/site... but I believe he is currently away right now :(
