Les...that wasn't funny...not at all. Though you may NOT like it what they do is art too. An art you don't understand but none the less an art. They pour their hearts into their work just like anyone else...and for that alone it should be respected.

wow... I agree... I never thought any one would defend hiphop here. awesome. and your right hip hop is art- it's poetry to a beat- some artist are just about the you know (b's and h's) but hip hop is art.

Spontaneous response as it wasn't funny at all. I love a little of all music…there is something in each genre for everyone…I BELIEVE. Hip hop music has inspired me in many ways…in fact I’ve written a few things due to songs I've heard. Though there is some I don’t like I respect what they do, as we all should.

LMFAO -- My "posse" is NOT ridin' dirty but "ridin' FILTHY" -- that just so happens to be a VERY FUNNY JOKE between me and TWO of the girls. When we want to go out somewhere we'll call each other and say "want to ride filthy" HEHEHAHA

    But FUNNY!!!

I wouldn't know about a "THUG SCHOOL" as I am not interest in "THUG LIFE" LMFAO HAHAHA I suppose having a boyfriend with a wave cap, hat, baggy clothes and gold teeth doesn't back that up but it's actually true...LMFAO HAHAHAHAHAHA

What I said about my boyfriend was 100% true. However, he is definitely NOT thuggin'. He's just your everyday guy...probably one of the most awesome people I'll ever meet. And I don't like him I LOVE him...

Rednecks write songs about me and I write poetry about them. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I actually JUST wrote one yesterday...LMAO

Your LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was a little much, it wasn't "THAT" funny....HAHA

I took no offense to what you said Nate...none at all! I am secure enough with the love of my life to look passed any negative feedback. I however, did not think what you said was negative. I thought it was rather funny actually. I laughed right out loud while we had this discussion.

It troubles me at times that people see him and think because of his looks that he's a "thug." He's been in some trouble before, but who hasn't. He didn't hurt anybody, he didn't sell dope, he just got caught up in some bad stuff, as we all do at times in our lives. I don't know. I came in here because seeing a young teen ask for "gangsters" is upsetting. It's a status thing I think. Young teens want to be seen with the biggest and the baddest...I've been there, I know this to be true from my own naive little mind as a youngster. If I was seen with "the big boys" no one would mess with me.

The thug image is something that I must deal with now. I get raunchy looks and even worse comments thrown at me. It's something I must deal with and I've learned to SMILE at them.

Rednecks are LOVELY. SOME of them anyway. There are some around here in an area called Suncoast and even further spread out that put "If it aint white, it aint right" stickers all over their cars. We know to stay away from them and that's that...LMFAO

Eddie, I had no idea. WHOA! What a surprise. It's amazing to see teens from gangs come up and make something out of themselves as it doesn't seem to be an easy task. I've lived no 'rough' life to speak of nor have I been part of any gangs so I can't understand what it's like...but I know that you deserve much respect! That is truly awesome. It seems that the people in gangs know nothing but that...they live by it and by no means will they dishonor it...so to see a young man come out of it is truly awesome...TO ME anyway...kudos to you.

Oh Lord...I've been rambling on and on about nothing!! HAHAHAHA

But I would like to add that I read this thread again AND "Hey, if dude has a grill then he's thuggin' and if you like him you're thuggin' by association" REALLY MADE ME LAUGH!! HAHAHAHA THAT WAS VERY FUNNY NATE!!! I'm open maaann we can talk and joke about ANYTHING!!! NO MORE APOLOGIES PLEASE!

I don't think that language is appropriate...
