Eyes of burning fire
Hair of streaking gold
A world where shadows lurk
Where hearts are freezing cold

Welcome to my life
Where demons roam for free
Where fallen angels cry
Grasping for my knees

Tis the world where I stumble
Blindly through and through
Bleeding from unseeing wounds
Who would have knew

Everytime a step was taken
It crumbled beneath in dust
Everything I've won and loved
Now survives on broken trust

I cleansed my eyes from black tears
Hoping to find some light
Yet the darkness won't let me go
And I remain to fight this fight

Standing alone in a confused daze
Wondering what's left of me
Whether I was still that person I was
Or a child broken and empty

This is world in which you gaze upon
Shattered by all my remorse
Here is where eternity takes it's toll
Drifting, waiting, forever henseforth

Staring out my window
At a sunny yet rainy day
Wishing I was home
And for that I'll always pray

Someone please take me
Take me back home
I cant stand this madness
And feeling so alone

It is all so different
And I dont like it one bit
Why has this happened?
Its my heart all this has hit

I feel horrible
And I continually groan
About how stupid I was
Please just take me home...

You look at me
With those eyes like fire..

They glint with rage
And so much anger
So much evil
You stare at me
As I lay there on the floor
My mind gone blank
My breathing fast
My ribs broken
And my head bleeding
Bleeding forever more..

You have attacked me
You have abused me
You have destroyed me
You give me one last look
With those eyes like fire
And walk out the door

You know someone will find me
And I will be fine,
You just needed to take out your anger
And the body you used
Was mine..

That's what I'm for
Always have been
And always will..
A punch bag,
A way for you to release anger and pain
Just pass it on to me..

But what you do not know
Is that
This is the last time
I will be attacked
Be abused
Be destroyed..

As you walk away
My head bleeds and bleeds
Leaving a puddle around me
My heart rate gets slower and slower
My eyes flicker open and closed
And then
Suddenly
I am lying in the dark
For the rest of eternity
Forever to remember

only 8 lines. Within a Triolet, the 1st,
4th, and 7th lines repeat, and the 2nd
and 8th lines do as well. The rhyme
scheme is simple: ABaAabAB, capital
