Memorial day's sad reality

Why would one accuse you of tag teaming...Sunny!!

Only people who know they are losing do that.

    Anyways:

George W Bush is a man I find very amusing and interesting. Why would the American voters choose a man who is so accident prone? And foolish I might add....?

And why would he not bring back the soldiers that are in Iraq, and commemorate those who lost their lives in a meaningless war.

    Truly that is sad!!!

Everybody does Ismail. It is easy to make fun of people stupider than yourself. I think that is why everybody makes fun of Bush. And tyo answer your last question, why would a country elect him--well--look at the competition. We could pick man who can't speak and runs for big business or man with no ideas except do the opposite of his competitor and also advocates big business. It was a lose lose situation for America.

I agree with you Musicality, but I'm sure you'd agree that our opinion doesn't keep this memorial day situation bitter and ironic.

Is George Bush to blame for American soldiers getting killed in Iraq, or are they themselves responsible for joining the army and then going to war and dying? I don't blame the skateboarding manufacturers when i fall off my board.

The latter is clearly the truth. Without the consent of every person who signed up there could have been no war...or any war for that matter.

Mmm, that'd beg the question as to whether or not ALL of the people who consented did so for reasons that they were lied to or not, in which case the liar is at least partially at fault.

If skateboarding manufacturers said you had no chance of falling off a skateboard, and that the experience of skateboarding was orgasmic, and I went skateboarding, fell off, and didn't have an orgasm, then I'd be upset. Stupid... But upset. And I'd blame the manufacturers. And I think i'd sue them for false advertising too.

Interesting point sean, not vallid I believe but interesting...and yeah...the orgasmic shakeboarding was funny.

We all know [I hope] that Georgie boy and his administration lied to the public and deceieved the soldiers, I'm not contending they weren't told the truth. The fact remains however that they chose to join, or remained a soldier when the war started and they all knew people get killed in wars...and they still went.

Whose responsibility is that? I mean they all had free choice in the matter, shoddy advertising or no.

I'll say again, without public consent in the form of people joining the army...you couldn't have wars like the one in Iraq. Which kinda makes us all responsible.
