    as my english still kinda sucks :s

    someday is 2
    but is someday's 3 ? or 2

    Well, if I'm not mistaken it is still two syllables.

    some-days (the s adds no extra syllable, just the "s" sound)

    However I could be wrong, I mean, just because I speak english doesn't mean I can count syllables.

    It's only 2 syllables. Some-days. The s doesn't count as a syllable. Just as it is in words such as confused. Con-fused. Unless, of course, modern English such as Shakespeare, it would be Con-fus-ed. Lol what a horrible example. Meh, nonetheless, Somedays is only 2 syllables. :)

    Syllable count is very debatable. Some words, such as my name Katherine can be pronounced differently. My parents call me Kah-ther-in, but people at school call me Kath-ren or Kath-rin. I think it is up to the writer to decide how they want the word to fit.
