Bumping into the site

Theres been a few of these threads :]

I was looking up poetry after we started it in school and had to write one. I made friends here and became attached :) Which caused my love for poetry to grow.

I was looking for some cool msn names, But I typed in 'quotes' in google. And it came up with this site. And then after a week I joined, And then I started writing poetry.

I was actually searching up a place to post storys and get info on how I was doing there. I think I typed in some thing like "teen writting". After a while of shifting through different pages, I think I clicked on a link on a page that was devoted to giving teens hints that'd help them improve. I landed here and imideant joined after running up to my room to find a poem I could consider good enough to post. :D I haven't left you guys yet.

Ahh all things in life are down to fate, that's what I believe anyway. I was looking for some poetry about a mother and her child for some religious studies homework and it brought me here. Liked the site, joined, got an A on my homework...yeah things turned out okay

Well. I was looking for quotes, to put on my msn.
And the google search took me here. The first poem i read was by Yrene(haha). And I loved it so much that i decided to join and share my poems aswell :-D.

I do belive I was bored and looking for poems to help me inspire a new rping character. >.<

Anywho, I got hooked here after visiting the chat a few times. Now I just float around eating webspace, writing, and reading poems.

I was having a melancholy day, thinking of friendships that had gone by the wayside and a recent death and typed "friendship poems" ... and voila. I don't get on as much now as I spend time at the camp during these months, but I check it out everytime I'm home and occasionaly post.

i had school project an di had to look up poems from famous poets and i typed in love poems and i found this site!!!!!!!

I looked up sad quotes and came across this site.. then after reading stuff for a while I decided to post things of my own, and ever since then its been kinda addictive

I went to google and typed sad poems, and it came up with a page of all these different types of sites, i clicked the one that said www.poems-and-quotes.com (oviously) and i read a few of the amazing poem's on here and decided to share my own work...

hehe.. i was looking for love poems on google.. same as most people.. and when i saw that you could add your own poems, i decided to add some that i had been writing for school.. then i got hooked :P lol..

Lol, same as most people, I typed in "best love poems" on google.. and this is what came up. I started to read some of the love poems, and some of the sad poems and ones about life, and just completely loved it!! I figured it would be a good place to post my poetry, and see what people really think about it, so I decided to give it a try.

I stumbled across this site while i was falling for someone by searching on google for poems...ran into many other sites, but just didn't feel right...this is the site to be...I loved how people express many of their emotions in writting...It really amazed me how words not all can express what you are feeling...I really enjoyed reading other people's poems...If you need to read some of your poems...I will gladly do it...Now it must be good...haha...Not to be rude but some of them need to be revised...Anyways...Yea...thats how I got into the site...:)

By accident, was just looking for poems. Glad I did :)

One of my friends was looking up another friends poems on here, and then me and her started reading the funny qoutes (Funny stuff there let me tell ya lol.) And a couple of weeks later i signed up. :)

I was Googling things and stuff and then I came across this site and joined.

We had to study a poem as part of one of our assignments in yr8. I came across this site, but didnt go into it. That assignment we also had to write an anthology, and i loved writing poems so much that i kept doing it. Then yr 9 i was bored so i looked up this site again and loved reading the poems so after a couple of weeks i registered. And here i am, 2 years later still doing what i love.
