I've gotten that a lot. One of my good guy friends accused me of plagerizing a poem i wrote about my Grandpa so long ago. When it comes to things like passed relatives, i can go deep. They don't understand that because when they see me at school, i have that fake smile pasted to my lips and they expect that everything is okay. Poetry is my escape. |

It happens. Whenever people read my stuff they always say stuff like "this is too emo for you" or "this is not something you would write about", but you know if they think you didn't write it then you know that they don't know you as well as you think. Jenna is rightabout lot of what she says. People will say this is too deep for you because we pass though our lives making it seem like everythings alright. Poetry is the best escape for me. It might not be for some people, but it helps get away from the outside world. |

Heh, I get this all of the time. I guess my use of a wise vocabulary doesn't fit my personality. Nor the logic and concepts of the poems. People just see me as crazy, tee hee. Although... I do give them some reason. They also ask me why I don't speak like that. And my answer is always the same. Why speak like that when half of them won't understand what the hell I'm saying? |

I don't think that anyone understands my most serious poems enough to actually criticize them. |

i feel that is completely true maybe this is because we just get lost in a world of emotion when writing poems and words become more transparent and clear to us in our brain i only just realised this lol xxx alex xxx |

Nah, I tend to write my age, a lot of my personality comes out in what I write, and visa versa, I guess. Of course, sometimes I write from other personalities perspectives, and in writing, I like to sometimes be a little sillier or crazier than real life. Yeah, it's another kind of escape. The language never changes though, so, people have a tendency to identify all my writings with me. but, sigh. critics. as long as they're reading it... |
