Death

Ok I'm not too sure where this fits so I have put it here. Does anybody ever think about death? Like ... that deep sleep feeling, is going to happen forever someday, and that sometime you aren't going to be here anymore, just going to end?

Yeah I guess I do not to an obsessive or morbid state though Kim...I hope you dont either.
I mean i guess you to an age where you realise your not invisible, it usually comes with an event that changes your life, like in my case having my son, in others its a serious accident or the death of a close loved one...I mean the sooner we realise the beautiful gift that life is and start making the most of it the better i think, we have one chance to do the best we can with our lives...lets live it the full - no regrets :o)

Eibutsina, no it's not morbid obsession, just a pondering. To the second poster, I'm not sure how to explain myself. Like .. If you sit and really think about it, sometime you are not going to be here anymore, the mind you think with right now is going to disappear, you are never going to fell anything ever. We leave such a small mark on the world. That wasn't explained well .. Hmh.

I do that mostly when I'm lying in bed at night.
It kind of creeps me out, not knowing what's going to happen afterwards. Like, would it just be blackness, and you be nothing? Or would you come back as something else?
Sadly, I lean on the blackness side. And that scares me, because everything you worked so hard in life for, will mean nothing.

Death doesn't sound that bad since its just a endless sleeping with non waking up, well that or if you believe in heaven or hell, then you can go somewhere after u die

Death is a scary thought, and we should all accept when our times, actually, you have no choice!! Just think of it this way, you'll never know you're dead, when you die.

You only live once, so make the best of it.

Naw, death isn't an end, or at least not to me. I believe I will die when I die and then go on to other worlds to do other things, so I can keep growing and pogressing. The important part is to live a good life, no matter what you believe, so you can have a positive impact of those you leave behind.

I do all the time. My only fear of dying is that I won't leave something behind. I want to leave some type of "ME" to stick around...and by that I mean children. When I have babies I'll be at ease with the whole death coming to get 'cha thing...lol

Yeah I guess, that figures. So im only 16 .. not up for having children just yet. But yeh ..

yes, and it scared me for a long time. but i relized everyone is going to die someday not just me so it relaxed me when im ready to die, then it'll happen

My bad Kim I didnt mean to imply it was a morbid obssession for you, but merely to state that it wasnt for myself however yes I do ponder it like yourself. But I dont like to think about it too much or into to detail but after having my son I realised I wasnt invinsible and that eventually yeah I would pass.

I'm thinking about death right now.

I think about death all the time, it's so mysterious, what does happen to you??? no one will ever really know.
I everybody thinks about death subconciously, like sex, cos it's just one of those things that are so prominent in todays media.

*Sighs* Alas I do, a lot sometimes its deep, and sometimes its just a passing thought.

At the moment I am terrified to think that one day, you will be gone. And won't ever wake up and remember anything ever again. It's hard to explain .. but it terrifies me.

I think about it all the time, and even thought I am a catholic and believe in God and heaven and everything, I'm really curious about whats going to happen when i die. Sometimes, it hurts to know that I'll have to leave everyone i love behind someday but I just pray they'll know that I'm in a better place.

Dont let it terrify you Kim, its inevitable and a natural part of life...the second your born your dying in reality.

Yeah tell me about it..It's pretty strange thinking about..being gone for the rest of eternity while everyone else is born and lives while youre dying or dead already..Its weird but it happens coz its life. You cant really do anything about it but, Enjoy life now, and appreciate that you have one!! =)..And like the person above me..."Dont worry about dying, worry about living" ...Then again, when you learn how to die, you learn how to live. So maybe if we experience, coming to face with death, we'd appreciate life more? I dont know, I'm going to stop rambling. =) Have a nice day. Lmfao.

I don't really think about it anymore? Cause when you die, You can't do anything about it anyway. So I don't see the point in worrying about it. Everyone's gonna die one day. That's just how it works?

i ponder death sometimes, it does not scare me in the slightest. death is completely natural, we just return to the earth and become part of nature again. i love life, but i know i will be ready to die some day.
