it is so fun to sit here and watch people argue semantics. Why, people it is absolutely useless. People are basically arguing their own definitions of these words. |

I thought the whole point of not having a set definition was to explore how people label themselves based off their own personal understanding of the two words... |

Damn I didn't expect this thread to get so long. I read all of it, and I've come to find that the label of "poet" or "amatuer" doesn't really matter anymore :D, thanks for sharing your thoughts everyone and keep writing what you do. |

I believe that we are all poets... just that some of us don't write that poetry, but we live it, we feel it, taste it, hear it, sense it, speak it. Poetry is beauty, I think. More than that, poetry is emotion. Opinion. |
