I think you may be insecure. Just write. It doesn't matter how, just let your hands and heart do the talking....writing. |

What I'd like to see you do is write a poem about your insecurity, rhyming it until the last coupled stanza. |

I also write poems that rhyme. Except one (deep in my thoughts) for me its harder to write rhyming poems rather than unrhyming. My unrhyming poem, ws rather hard to write out on paper because it seems awfuly weird to write just sentences. The thing about unrhyming poems is, you dont have boundries or anything telling you you have to write a certain word that works with another word or rhyms. I think unrhyming poems will help you express more be cause you can elaborate more and write what you feel, not what sounds write. My advice to you is write like you would a diary. You could write and Etheree or a poem that has 1 syllable in the first line, 2 in the second, 3 in the third, so on until you get to ten, or it can be reversed. |

Poetry is you. I write poetry for the therapy of it. The rate is an ego thing and I like my ego patted. But to be able to express yourself , especially if you do that through writing better than orally and in front of others; is a good outlet for ideas that might be bottled up and need or want to come out. It is healthy. |
