hate

so many people say that you can never hate someone.... but other people say it all the time so i want to know your guys opinion on what hate means and if its possible to hate someone.

i know what i think it means but i just wanna know what other people think too!

i say i hate things all the time but i dont mean literally HATE them i just dislike them or they bug me or something. i think it is possible to hate someone or something.

Here's the best definition that i have ever heard of what hate really means (what he thought that it means) he was a holocaust survivor and the SWEETEST guy i have ever met and probably will ever meet but anyway he said

"if you have to hate, then hate hate."
"i couldnt believe that hitler hated the jewish race enough to kill them off so the next time that you say you hate this or hate that think about this, hate is having enough dislike towards something or someone that you would kill them with no feelings of regret or no second thoughts"

I believe hate is a very passionate emotion, and like love, the word is thrown around without true meaning too often. Saying that you hate someone, but wouldn't want them to die, is only dislike. Hate is *wanting* something terrible to happen to them.

I also believe that very few people can truely hate. It's too malicious for most humans to be able to feel it.

Well, that's my opinion anyway.
