Ok. This is how it works. You ask the three simple questions below without making a big deal about it - and definitely not mentioning the word 'psychology'. Say things like: 'let's play a quick game'.

Give 'em a bit of paper - do this in a group to lighten the suspicion.

    1. Ask them to write down their favourite colour. Ask them to add a few describing words to it - like big, bold, dark, bright etc (don't suggest any colour or any words to descibe the colour or you'll lead them!). If they struggle, just let them put down the colour.

    2. Ask them to write down their favourite animal and once again ask them to decribe it (again, don't lead with suggestions)

Finally ask them to write down their favourite idea of how they like to see water. you might have to promt here. Just say things like a stream, the sea, river. Only prompt if you have to.

    What does this mean:

The colour: This is how the person you asked sees his or her life at the moment. Lighter the colours the more positive, as with words like big and strong etc.

The animal: This represents the person's idea of an ideal partner. Dog is loyal, cats are independent etc etc

The water: This represents not what the person thinks his/her life is like but what it actually 'is' like. Rivers are persistant and purpousful. look for the describing words like raging ocean; calm stream etc.

Remember - this is only a game and not to be taken too seriously. The results are often interestin and good for conversation. If you have any problems interpreting the results- mail me or put it in the thread..

It would be good to know, via this thread, what you came up with.

    Have fun.

Oh and by the way, if someone's having a bad day don't add to it with your interpretation of the results. That's if you really want to give them the results. You might want to keep them to yourself. And if you feel you might upset someone - then definitely keep them to yourself or make something positive up for them!.

Hey, they're pretty cool answers from, no doubt, a pretty cool guy. Blue's an insecure colour, though, but hey oh.

    Bright Pink

A silver wolf, strong, fast, agile, pack-friendly

Finally ask them to write down their favourite idea of how they like to see water. you might have to promt here. Just say things like a stream, the sea, river. Only prompt if you have to.

    Raging river o.0

    ok he said

    1) white because it is...i can't remember. He said like fluffy, clean and smooth.

    2) cats because they are retarded/crazy, independent, funny, cute, playful, and affectionate (yep that pretty much describes me).

    3) A creek/stream because for the most part they are peaceful and nice to watch but sometimes the water hits some rocks. Also, creeks can either flow really fast or really slow.

Use your imagination as to what the symbols mean.

Stormy waters could indicate stormy people etc etc
