need help

well i have been going out with this girl for only 3 months. when im with her its the best feeling in the world, i could never be happyer. but i only got to see her on weekends cus of school. she has a best friend who she lied to me about hooking up with, saying it was along time ago it didnt mean any thing. but they see each other every day. she also gets mad at me for hanging out with other girls. i just signed up for the navy but not leaving for 9 months, but every day after i signed up she hung out with that kid. i was so up set i broke up with her. after that i tried getting back with her. but she said it hurt her to much, she couldnt do it again right now, but she wouldnt rule out the possiblity of us getting back together later on. idk if i should keep trying or give up. i would hate to give up, but is this a lost cause?

Personally, I'm extremely bitter when it comes to the relationship life right now. I mean... Gahhh!!!...So, if this does come off rude and not sensative to your feelings I'm sorry...
But I think that it is quite possibly a very lost cause. Not only did she lie to you, but it was about hookin' up with someone. And if you can't stand only seeing her on the weekends, then what's going to happen after you leave? You'll see her less, and most likely, in the corner of your mind there could be this whispering thought that she's hookin' up with someone else again... Which will drive you crazy.

It sounds to me like there is somewhat of a trust, and a jealousy issue going on.

I would say that you should just let it go. If you are going to be leaving...even if it's not for 9 months...and you play around with the thought that maybe she was cheating on you again....then how are you gong to make it when you are in the Navy and can't see her for months, at a time.

My advice...she isn't worth it...move on and find someone that will love you and only you and will be there for you when you leave.

thanks alot for helping me, its just been crazy and i dont no what to do. it all hurts so much, its been driving me insane, but you guys r right, i need to let go. thank you for suporting me for going into the navy.
