my best friends hate eachother.

ok so my friends never did like eachother. but then one of them accuses me of favoring the other. and then they start calling eachother names and they expect me to chose a side. and i dont want to chose a side because they are both my best friends. ive tried making them friends instead of enemies but that did NOT work. and my friend hates me ATLEAST once a week for some stupid thing with my other friend. and its annoying me. so what should i do? chose a side? =\

Do NOT choose a side...about a year and a half ago I was in the same situation..It was completley stupid!! I got so frusterated that I called them both and told them...If you guys were my best friends you wouldn't care about who else I hang out with, its so childish that your mad at me because of someone else I consider a best friend, and if its going to be this way I'm going to not talk to either of you and it'll be YOU whose loseing a true friend....I just laid down the rules and spoke whats on my mind....talk to them and tell them that its unfair they do that to you....a true friend wouldn't put you in a position to where you have to pick sides..they'd be happy with the friend they have regardless of who you hang out with

i have been in the same situation for a few years- but i don't think i have it as bad as you becuz my friends are never with me at the same time. and i have come to find that the best thing to do is just ignore them when they make rude comments about each other.. if you defend one of your friends when the other is trashing her, then she might feel like its a personal attack.. if you ignore them they'll find other ways to keep your attention.. don't choose a side, though, becuz they are both probably your friends, they just feel threatened by one another. : ) good luck
