#5 Love Heals

Like ancient herbs, love heals the soul
Love heals the mind, body and heart
Flowing inside your distraught mind
It soothes and hushes saddening thoughts

When a bully comes and make you cry
You run away to your mother's arm
It is love that your mother gives to you
It is love that shields you from further harm

Like a pheonix's tears, Love can heal
Even the darkest, coldest heart of hearts
For nothing is as powerful as love itself
True love can never break you apart

Embrace love and cherish all it's joy
Hold it to your lips and drink it's honey
Feel it rush down your sore throat
Let it renew your peace and beauty

Love heals, that is all to say
It is a gift to be sincerely cherished
Never give up all your hope
Never let the power of love be perished

10. Your Eyes

I see you,
standing there giving me no thought.
And yet your eyes glisten,
with the love of a thousand hearts,
and the death of a thousand souls.
Your eyes give away so much,
and take so little.
Though they glow,
brighter then any star,
just for me,
they see no sights,
just as you hear no words.
I could tell you that I love you now,
but what good would it do.
You've been gone for ages,
at least that's how it seems.
And all that's left of you here,
is a photograph,
of you,
and your eyes.

Empty space inside of me,
a front that reads no vacancies,
a lie that's read transparently,
as if you couldn't see through me.

I know it's time to let you be,
but it all came on too suddenly,
I'm not prepared to set you free,
don't leave me on my knees.

You were my own personal tease,
brought arousal with much ease,
but with your female tendencies,
you aimed only to displease.

Looking back at what I wrote, I see,
that is wasn't you, but it was me,
I went about things so awkwardly,
and now I miss you terribly.

Please, someday, come back to me...

#1 Seasons of Love

On that hot summer day
We relaxed on the warm beaches
Your skin lightly tanned
Your olive eyes shining
Brightly in the light
And a smile of love
Just for me..

As the leaves turned to fire
In the colorful season of autumn
We spent cozy nights
Wrapped in each others arms
Snuggled in warm blankets
And staring into one another’s eyes..

That cold gray winter
We heard the news of your disease..
Every day we spent time together
Gluing back together
The pieces of our broken hearts
Before you left me forever more..

That spring
I walked along slowly
Remembering our times together
And carrying a red rose
The symbol of our love
To your grave..

Without You

Darling, can’t you see, I’m nothing without you,
I still can’t believe, that our friendship’s through.
You’re my everything, you made everything alright,
You were the one I dreamed of through the night.

I can’t breathe without you, can’t do anything,
Feel so alone and helpless, I feel less than nothing.
Can’t you please, tell me why? Why are you so mad?
Is it just a trick? Are you only trying to make me sad?

I can’t do anything without you, can’t fake a smile,
For your friendship back I’d gladly run 1,000 miles.
I was in love with you, and you hurt me so much,
Yet at night when I dream, I still think about your touch.

I am nothing without you, just a single drop if rain,
Why, darling friend? Why do you cause me all this pain?
I thought you care, but I learned it was all just a lie,
I don’t think you even care, how much you make me cry.

So, my darling, if this is the way it is going to be,
I guess this is the end, you’ll always be a friend to me.
If you change your mind, just call me up, and I’ll be waiting,
Although I love you so much, the wait will be frustrating.

I love you, I swear I do, but this is the end,

Ok I wrote it.. I hope it fits...

I run my own life and all my selfish desires;
I kick and scratch at my hopes and all is know again.
It kills me that I push you up inside my depression.

The pencils write again in speed on the paper;
And the deep empathy buys in:
I spend my burden of all the past causing shame.

I chased you forlorned that there is much pity
And it destroyed me inside, interfered with me so deep
And it kills me that I force you to ride my depression.

Fear thinks that I am something,
The sprite lust of the moons writes:
"Sing to the stars and with your bright future"

I hoped you'd dream the way that you wish,
But I speak so angry and I blink your eyes.
Destroying that of which makes you who you are.

I should have wished for a life instead;
At least back home wants they need me again.
Destined apart from that without I shall live.

I need not that who you claim to be,
Your lies have overcome my happiness.
I know not where youv'e been.

And so you call out to me,
"Take Me or Leave Me", I feel no guilt.
You have lost everything I gained

Alone is no wicked prision,
Like that which I was contained.
Freedom brighten my spirits, weakens your grasp

I'll Cover You

I know you need someone, to have your back,
To lead you back to the light, when all goes black.
If you need me to cover you, I'm always here,
Whenever you have sadness, or too much fear.

Since you need someone, can it be me?
Whenever you need someone, I'll be here for free.
You know I love you, so if ever in need,
Feel free to call me, I’ll hurry over with speed.

If you need a shoulder to cry on at night,
After a girl breaks your heart, I’ll make it alright.
I know I love you, but I’ll get you through it all,
I’ll cover your back whenever you trip and fall.

If you need someone, because you’re alone,
And having a hard time, being on your own,
Give me a call, and I’ll be over in a flash,
I’ll be there to mend your heart, if ever there’s a gash.

Can I cover you? I’ll be here just to talk,
To give you a friendly hug, even at 2 o’clock-
In the morning, I’ll spend all night talking to you,
So, I’ll cover you, but can you cover me too?

#6 I Should Tell You

I should tell you...
of all the emotions he exposed to me
the way he searched for freedom
how in his eyes I could see the loneliness
and could sense the desperation without a word

I should tell you...
of how she walked into my life when I couldn't go on
the help she supplied me with each day
all the nights we spent crying together
and how the miles never kept us from becoming close

I should tell you...
of the moments he chose to pass by
the wall he let her build around him
the nights I've listened to the endless screaming
and how he still never seems to understand

I should tell you...
of all the painful things I've dealt with
the arguments between life and death
and the stories carved into my heart with a knife
for which my lips do not compose a single sound
