Unsettled Impurities (Sins)

Stains on linen sheets
Blood soaking decrepit ground
Jewelry missing, wife long gone

Corpse in cold water
Devil pinned onto the wall
Needle sinks under tattoo

Emotional Landslide [Sedoka]

Desirable love,
I'm incomplete without it.
It burns a hole in my heart.

Becoming stronger,
Falling into the quick sand.
An emotional landslide.

Mirroring The Past

This, our impure youth,
Lacking in benevolence,
Made up in hypocrisy.

Lost, but not condemned,
Living only for the now,
Until they reach the future.

I did life. This is supposed to "mirror" life as a process of youth and growth into adulthood. We grow, we change, I write. Hope you like it. It's my first Sedoka.

Eagle (humanity/animals)

A single eagle...
Such beauty and elegance...
Symbol of America...

Only the eagle is
America's pride and joy.
Bold and strong as WE should be.

In the vast darkness
can we say that there lies fear
within the foreboding depths?

That majestic dark--
could we speak of mystery
and the deep beauty therein?

Woo. How come all these are way better than mine? Did I even do it right? Lol..

sinking... sinking... lol :) i'm pretending i'm still at the pool. i love all of these sedoka.. maybe i went a little overboard? my poem sounds so dark it's scaring me.... o_O

Tears stream down her face,
Dishes cracked beyond repair,
Nothing resembles this "love".

Bleeding eyes, and torn
Hearts, suppressing her true thoughts,
