Ribbons and laces and pink satin too
Shoes in jewels of all color hues
Dances in dim light with a boy or two
In truth, I am nothing at all like you

    Dreamy eyes and seductive lips
Late night parties of swinging hips
No, I'm not that easily tempted to show
My affection to someone I don't know

I'm not that kind of girl at all
My goals, unlike yours, are set far
I work to achieve my dreams at all cost
I am not ready for my heart to be lost

You may be flirty in your little pink dress
But I know inside your life will be a mess
You don't know why I do what I do
You don't know why I'm cold to someone new

I may be girl, liking "stuff" once in a while
But I don't need a man, or shoes to make me smile
I'm not a wannabe, neither looking for boys
That just isn't my way of finding my joys

I'm not that kind of girl at all
It is to the future that I call
You may whisper, they may lure
But in the end, I'm not that girl

He takes her hand in his, as he pulled her to him,
They turn down the music, as the lights they dim.
They dance as one, as he whispers in her ear,
"Baby, I love you, with me have no fear.

You know you are my everything"
She replied "I know, that's why I wear this ring!"
As the song comes to an end, they see only they remain,
As the faces around them are different, nothing around is the same.

She's a little freaked out, but remains by her love,
As the two of them float high and above-
everyone else. As everyone looks and points,
As the two lovers bodies conjoint.

She wakes from her dream, as a tear falls down,
For she knows that her lover, is deep under ground.
He died for her, and now must live with the guilt,
As she lays bundled up, in his grandma's quilt.

That was their last dance, when they became prom queen and king,
The ring she wore, was their wedding ring.
However, on the way home, as he walked her to the door,
Some bum asked for money, pointed a gun, and asked for more.

They gave all they had, only the ring remained,
He said, "give it to me", as he itched his tangled mane.
The man in love, said, "no you have enough!
I'd rather you shoot me, I can take it I'm tough."

The bum followed his command, and shot him in the heart,
The reason why the two lovers are now apart.
The last dance, their last chance for love,
As a tear comes from her eye, as she stares at the ceiling above.

    It Must Be

Inside I feel my heart flutter
Moving forward from the past into the future
A soul lingering in hope and relief
Knowing that never again will I suffer from grief

Happy to know nothing will truly make me sad
To know the truth and keep it to myself
It might seem a burden, but it's my treasure
Discovering mysteries is life's greatest pleasure

If I must grow, I have one wish
I want to always be like this
Living in the peace I've grown to love
A granted gift from heaven above

To know I am loved is enough
To love myself is even better
To wring out pain when it soaks me through
And let the sun shine down

I'm not scared of what will be
I know life comes and goes
I'm proud to know time ages with me
I wish to learn all there is to know

I want to open doors others have overlooked
I want them to see with newer eyes
I know in my heart that leaving
    Never truly means goodbye

I move on with no regrets
    Watching children put on shows
One day I will have my own
    And watch God's miracles grow

For now, I love being me
    The future knows no bounds
But if I let it fly too fast
    I'll be 6 feet underground

So I'll continue as I have
My baby steps turned into leaps
I have all I need to have
I know my soul is free

I thank God each and every single day
For the life he's given me
    Everyone parting ways
But I know that it must be

    Short Story

If only the words that lie inside,
    Openly would show,
Than you would see the pain subside,
And how I love you so,
But here I stay where I am well,
    Away from all the pain,
    Here in my heart-broken hell,
    Where living is but vain,
And my only hold on life,
    Beats within my chest,
Pierced, as if it were a knife,
    Heartbroke and at unrest,
Doctor, won't you check my pulse,
    To see if I'm alive,
Is this life or is this false,
    And how could I survive,
    For life without it's reason,
Is that even life at all,
    Living only for the season,
    As passes summer to fall,
Is there life beyond that place,
    Where you dream to be,
Why must I the future, face,
    This futures not for me,
So give me life in all its wonder,
    Give me air to breathe,
Give me hope to cast asunder,
    Upon the day you leave,
Give me pain and give me hell,
    Above all of these things,
Give me a short story to tell,
    For death the future brings.

    Insanity Strikes.

Her world is spinning so out of control,
Falling deeper into that dark black hole.
Thoughts of life are racing inside her mind,
Forcing her to leave herself left behind.

Trapped inside a hurtfull world she calls life,
Reaching for some support without the knife.
Pleading to the sky above, Please no more,
Questions left unanswered just like before.

Insanity strikes when the lightening hits,
Her worst crime of all she soons to commit.
As the crystal clear rain falls from the sky,
She drowns in her sins and says a goodbye.

    Truth

This world is dead, there is no hope
not one survived not even the pope
the world has been destroyed, the light has faded. what happened to everything God had created?

all this around me can't be true
what happened to everything i ever knew? all these things must be real
it caused wounds that will never heal. we were all paralyzed by our fears, and now we are all drowning in our own tears.

our friends are all rotten, our family dead. we pray to our God, to heaven their led. our life comes down and crashes, all that remains are ashes. every thing's burnt, destroyed, blown up. in the remains of the church lies the bishop.

no love remains, there's only hate.
perhaps in fact, this was our fate.
and after this you'd think they'd stop. the water that's left are just tear drops.

enough blood has shed, please stop this now. go on shake hands, in fact just bow. throw guns away, destroy them all. keep on fighting and you'll all fall.

But go ahead and lay more to rest, at least you'll say you did your best. perhaps there still might be a chance, to rebuild this planet, destroy the trance. but the minute another gun is fired, our hope is gone, our chance backfired.

ok i hope you all like it

    A dancing leaf

A dancing leaf once drifted in my presence

    Painting the world in grace

I had hoped to make its acquaintance

Yet failing to sense its trace

Never expected I could encounter the same leaf

So familiar, like a fantastic dream

Overwhelmed by the special feeling it weaves

Something warm running through my bloodstream

Never expected it should invite me to dance in the lake of autumn

Losing myself in its special rhythm

I can see the smile of cherry blossoms

So does the color of lonesome

    Oh, my dancing leaves

You are part of my dream

Awakening my senses towards the autumn

Longing to be your eternal partner dancing in the melody of sunbeam

Leave me in this sacred place,
where noone will see my scarred face.

Leave me in this open tomb,
in a place where there's never room.

Leave me where there is no hope,
where all is lost, including hope.

    An orphan to humanity,
    a child, victim of poverty.

Leave me here, where love is not,
where everything is killed or fought.

    Best Day of Her Life
    by ¤• נєѕѕу •¤ ™

    She wakes up that morning
With a smile on her face
    Her skin is shining
    And her eyes are bright
    And she knows
That this is going to be
The best day of her life..

    Surrounded by a group
    Of giggling girls
    They carefully do her hair
    They expertly
    Twist, brush, and perfect
    Her long blond curls

Her make up makes her look
    Like a fairy princess
    And with that sparkle
    In her excited green eyes
She looks as if she could fly

As she puts on her dress
All they can do is stare in awe
She is a vision in white
Like the first layer of snow
    On a cold winter night

    When the music
    She has longed to hear
For so long starts to play
She picks up her longs skirts
    And blissfully walks
    Like a graceful ballerina
    Down the aisle
Towards the love of her life

    He stands there
The look upon his face incredulous
    She looks so beautiful
    He thinks to himself

    And when its finally time
To promise to be together forever
    They place the golden rings
    Upon their fingers
    Look up and smile
    And nothing could have
    Ever been more magical
    Than the moment
    Their eyes met and they
Repeated the everlasting words "I do"

    Strike Of Reality by Mahynor

I could have sworn I saw it
I know it was in sight
The glossy beam of a pastel dazzle
    Shining down as perpetual sunlight

Thoughtless beliefs lead us to suppose
    It was unending
Adoring every second of the warm reflection
    The sun was sending

It was merely shine, not a bead of rain
Had ever fell on my skin
The twinkle I engaged quickly absorbed
    Happily relentlessly within

    Sadly, nothing goes on forever
Even the mild sun that had always lit
I was fooled by believing in ever-lasting happiness
I was yet to know what will hit

Child, come across that day your
    Blinded by deceit
    Not observing its blurred presence
    You dimly attempt to defeat

    Suddenly, with no warning
    The light turned its lever
    Like a mid-day solar eclipse
    That will go on forever

You're clueless on what's yet to end
    Your endless dream
What's yet to vanish your joy
Which was caused by that happiness beam

    You close your eyes
An unexpected flash of lighting falls from the sky
Claiming all the delight, Every piece of joy
In which you have called "mine"

As you open your eyes again
And try to uncover your miserable face
You find yourself in a spot uncalled for
    A whole different place

Dark eyes whom don't dare to take a
    Glance at your remains
Who have gone missing after the dark storm
    Finding whole different lanes

Alone in a place surrounded by souls
Who before loved you but now only show hate
You wonder why this is all you receive
After following and believing in fate

Keep on crying, keep on weeping
The closest thing you want to do besides die
    Watching those saddening tears
Falling down from those innocent eyes

You wish for the sun to come back
To place its light on you again
Impossible to make-believe its still there
    Unattainable to pretend

    You have no other alternative
But to reside with the sorrow on all sides
Or to do your best to escape from the darkness
    Bravely attempt to eternally hide

Abruptly, everything swiftly flashes in front of you
    The happiness before the deceit
The joy you have always acclaimed
    The contentment that won't repeat

Rest, unwind, just lay and try to force
    A forever-lasting sleep
Besides the flow of tears streaming from the guiltless eyes
That cry an unjust dismaying weep

    He loved the girl,
The one who took his heart.
    A beautiful face,
    That tore him apart.

    She manipulated,
    And deceived.
    But her love for him,
    He wanted to believe.

    He looked away,
    Ignored the lies.
    Because he loved the girl,
    that made him cry.

    She made him smile,
    She made him cry.
    Without her now,
    He would surely die.

    But she didnt know,
    she played her little game.
    Not knowing every second,
    It was bringing more pain.

    This boy loved,
    This girl played,
    He actually believed,
    this girl would stay.

    He thought he was,
The luckiest man in the world,
To have the one of his dreams,
    The most beautiful girl.

    Until a fateful day,
    when he finally saw.
    His true love,
    Begin to withdraw.

    A simple kiss,
    then another one after.
    He watched her beautiful face
    as it filled with laughter.

    Completely torn apart,
His heart ripped from his chest.
    For him to leave,
    Would be for the best.

    He wrote his note,
While he cried and he bled.
    To let the world know,
    Why he had fled.

    He sharpened the knife,
    He cried his last tear.
    And took his own life
For the love that was so dear.

    Meant To Be

At times I feel I can't go on,
I think things will never be the same.
In my heart I know this is right,
This isn't just some silly game.

We both need our time apart,
Time to find what's in our hearts.
If what's in your heart is me,
Then I'll know we're meant to be.

I'm gonna go out on my own,
    Go on a self-discovery.
    And discover the true me,
Even if I don't wanna be alone.

We both need our time apart,
Time to find what's in our hearts.
If what's in your heart is me,
Then I'll know we're meant to be.

    ~Postpartum Deport~

A relationship bound by the court,
    two parents yearning to abort.
    One child's postpartum deport,
a life, from the start, out of sorts.

The help of two elders, they sought,
    a custody battle, never fought.
    Drug addict parents, got caught,
    important lessons, never taught.

A baby that was left behind,
    consequences of a legal bind.
A lifestyle of a different kind,
    viewpoints from a distorted mind.

A family separated by years in time,
a life with a different rhythm and rhyme.
Two people, making up for another's crime,
always living off of their last dime.

A difficult situation from the start,
a unique picture, of an unpopular art.
    A family, nearly torn apart,
two grandparents, certainly, off the charts.

An unwanted boy, now full grown,
held together by seams, left un-sewn.
Approaching life with a whole different tone,
hoping, some day, to live life on his own.

    Where Your Heart Is
    by Wax Kalling

Do you really believe that love's not meant to last
or is that just what you tell everyone
    To prevent another mistake
    To stop you from falling?
    ...You're so sentimental

I don't know you that well but
    (I'd like to change that)
    I know what it's like
To not know where your home is
To only know where your soul is
    To have your heart scattered
    in many different pieces
&& nobody remembers to write or return your calls
    except maybe. just. this. one..

I know what it's like to leave behind friends
you thought you'd grow up with
    Who'd be there forever
Go to prom, graduation, all those normal experiences
    Normal kids have
    (What is normal anyway?)
    ...We should be more sentimental

    Forever...you don't even know
    how long that is
    It has lost all meaning...
    I miss them...
&& all the pictures that I took of those last days together
    got lost in the transaction
    (Sorry I'm still bitter)

    So we have no faith
    Because we have no place
    Where are you going?
    All that matters
Where are you going to stay?

What is our reason...save our ambition
We're becoming everything we swore to hate
&& all the talk && rushed goodbyes
    were breathed in vain
When a minute later they stop && sigh
    what a waste

You && I dread the day that you are gone
    Just like everybody else
    You're not like anybody else
    You're not like anybody else
