8. Fields of Innocence

Show me where to run
Show me where to hide
Show me the truth
Never the lies.

These Fields of Innocence
No longer exists,
Many are exposed,
To things they don’t wish.

Once eyes, so bright and blue,
Turn dark, unclear, and distant.
The barrier we all shared, so young,
Breaks Innocence in an instant.

Our world today is turned
Only bringing us to the ground
Things weren’t as they use to
The answers never to be found.

These Fields of Innocence,
That use to be so clear,
Fades in the disarray,
Just so close, so near.

It’s too late to change
We were heading here all along
Yet we never paid attention to our needs
We can’t admit that we are wrong.

So as we fade into the future,
The Innocence in children won’t last.
They cast away into a place,
Where childhood goes by so fast.
They are revealed things so early,
Exposed, vulnerable, bare.
Why don’t we see this?
Because life as we know it, isn’t fair.

Around the fires of a trembling earth
Flickering Tediously at the night sky
Rising from the ground, it's first birth
Weaving together in a quiet sigh

Scales of dripping mirth appear in sight
A soft humming of a magical voice
A gold, and a blue dragon entwined in flight
Dancing with their final eternal choice

Eyes of jewels like the midnight stars
Raise up the world in a mighty roar
Let your sound be heard from lands afar
Tatter the ground and Earth's soft core

Together we'll be dancing in the rain,
With our half empty bottle of champagne.
Smelling the scent of wet grass in the air,
As you brush your gentle hands through my hair.

Side by side watching the stars from the sky,
Wishing one day together we could fly.
Over the mountains and the seven seas,

Even In Death

This can't be happening, i must be imagining it.
he can't be here with me, here everytime i sit.
i killed him, myself, with my bare hands.
yet he is still here, comes as swift as the sands.

Even in Death, he is following me. even thought he is dead, it's him that I see. he's torturing me and causing me pain, he's making me suffer, and cracking my brain.

even though i killed him, he's still real as can be, yet only i can see him, and he can see me. every time i run, he is right behind. every corner i turn, it's him that i find.

he's dead and i know it, i buried him in the ground.
packed it up real tight, so he would never be found. but now it seems that, i'm the one who has bled. for he will not stop, until i am dead.

#18 Imaginary

they told me it was just my imagination, that it was never real. but i know what i'm talking about, the truth that will never heal. They told me i was crazy, told me to settle down. I replied, shut the f up, so they put me in a hospital gown.

they told me i'd be all right, this was for my own good. they said i'd made stuff up, and put drugs in my food.i couldn't convince them of my sanity. that it was much more than a memory. it was right in front of me, but then why didn't they see?

he'd come in contact with me, as well as my siblings. but i don't see them anywhere? have i really gone crazy? they tell me i had no siblings, i was an only child. they said i'd made that up as well, those words made me go wild.

i started hating everyone, my parents included. i refused to see any person, wouldn't even touch my meal. then they put me in a white room, the white jacket leather i could feel.

that night was when it happened, someone unlocked my door. he came right in, into my room, he who i'd seen only once before. he let me out and in the hall a sight awaited my eyes. my doctor's and parents all murdered. yet all i did was smile, and there were no sad good byes. and then the man he set me free. he let me go, and i could see. that everything, i thought i could be. was really just imaginary.

~this is about my ex boyfriend who I dumped nine months ago and still have feelings for. I don't think there is a flow to it and it's hard to understand but I hope you guys like it~

I carefully write out
The lines of my life
Each and every
Thought and emotion
Is expressed in this book..

And as each feeling seeps

That it was printed on
It becomes invisible ink..

If anyone were ever
To see these precious pages
My soul would be shattered
And my existence uncovered..

So I write of my days
In invisible ink
No one will ever know
The secrets and lies
That I live within..

This book and my invisible ink

Why you got to do that? All i wanted was love,
You became so important, placed you above-
everyone else. Now I'm alone again,
Miss how we used to be way back then.

Where'd you go? I'm all alone,
When without you, I'm cold as stone.

But your feelings for me now lack.

Used to be that you, and me could just talk,
Sometimes even go on a casual walk.
Once you found out, you never talked anymore,
Didn't even care when I cried outside the door.

Didn't care when you saw me, dying inside
Doesn't matter to you how much I've cried.
Don't care I got your back, don't care about anything,
All of a sudden to you, I mean nothing.
