I think I messed up

I really liked this guy at Work and we had a past. We kissed at my 18th birthday and we had been texting, talking more at work, flirting and even phoned each other a couple of times but when we were a lil drunk.

Then I messed it. I told him, I really liked him, in a text message. He never returned my texts and now his mates are taking the mick, saying i'm stalking him when I'm not! He told him once he liked me, so i'm really confused.

He told me, he hadnt had a girlfriend in 4 years and I think hes shy and scared of letting someone get close again after those years of being single and having fun.

I don't know what to do, and hes back at work this week and we havent spoken since the text!!

...He's too much of a sissy to even talk to you about it? Well, it's none of my business what sort of guys you go after, but if he can't even talk to you about what's bothering him, he wouldn't last very long in a relationship. Communication is important, and even if he's scared he'd have to get over that. I'd try talking to him in person, as embarassing as it may be. If he refuses to talk to you, then your course of action is easy: move on. Good riddance.

once again i find myself agreeing with sean confront him (but don't trap him) if he doesn't want to move on it would hurt more if you kept trying

he's scared and he's pushing you away. talk to him in person if you can otherwise, BLOCK your call and call him. (Go *67 !!!) thats what i do...lol

Thanks guys for being honest! I'll proberly see him on Wednesday at work and I'll see what happens then. Hes a nice guy and he always used to talk to me at work, just nice little converastions about anything.

Wait and see I guess

Well, I've seen him since. Nothing is going to happen, hes too shy. I mean we joke around, talk, even flirt a bit. But he doesnt text me anymore. I do like him and he seems a nice guy but I guess hes just not ready.
