If I could be where you are
I would go so very far

So many miles away
When I get there, I wish to stay

I'd get my wish from a shooting star

A light shining so bright
Falling quick with all its might

If I could dive into the sea
I'd wish you to be with me

Then we could talk all night
Everything would turn out alright

If we were together for the rest of our days
I wouldn't mind being so far away

We could whisper all night under the stars
And sing together with an acousic guitar

We'd smile forever in the dark
Fall asleep in each other's arms

Endless miles of money
may entice lesser men:
from CEOs to foreign marquis--
gold feet and silver inches
don't mean a thing to me.
I'm on my way, searching every day

shells on that distant shore;

And on that day
I kiss your lips
I'll finally throw away
my golden feet, silver inches
and all that pointless money.
Through all this mess
I can now confess
that it's love that satisfies me.

Ground bound air born leaves,
falling angstly from the sky.
Caroming off each branch they see,
a final muse, for they'll soon die.

A breeze through aged greenery,
is the wind's final solemn song.
It sways the leaves so tenderly
for now, their life's prolonged.

Their predetermined destiny,
leads to a life of apprehension.
Floating above ground and sea,
in an almost motionless suspension.

They swagger to the ground,
their dance with fate has ended.
Their new home has been found,
now that they have descended.

Drunk On Shadows

I love to swim in darkness,
let it trickle down my throat.
It quenches all my thirst,
and leads me further into death.
I want to hear the moonlight,
though I never thought I could,
but if I had the darkness,
I could try.
I'm drunk on these shadows,
my lonely ecstasy.
This joy is like no other,
though it's not joy it brings.
My wounds are wide and bleeding,
my heart is torn and cold,
I'm drunk on these shadows,
And fear this is the end.
But my fear is all but wasted,
for this is what I want.
To be drunk and love the shadows,
and live within the dark.

I'm Waiting

I'm waiting for you, hear the beat of my heart,
been sitting here waiting, since the second we part.
Sitting in the shadows, afraid to move away,
In fear of missing you, when so much I need to say.

I love you, why are you like this, it's not fair,
Each time I see you, I lose all other cares.
Then you ignore me, why? When all I do is wait,
Hoping someday you and I can finally go on a date.

I'm waiting here, sitting on the ground,
Curled in a ball, in fear, looking around.
I'm waiting here, waiting right now,
Waiting for you to talk to me, someway, somehow.

Please darling, is it really that hard to just speak,
I know it won't happen, the outlook is bleak.
Still, I can't stand it, why can't you just talk,
Until then, I'll wait, just sitting. Can't walk.

Yes, I'm waiting, I'm tired its been so long,
I've waited to weeks, why are you treating me wrong?
All I did was show you love, now I sit here and wait,
