Okay. So I know that it probably won't help me to come on a website asking for help, but I'm going to give it a try. |

You need to surround yourself with comforting things. Maybe have a night-light as well? May stop things seeming so scary. And remove anything that could be in slightest bit creepy - porcelain dolls, halloween things, even weird album covers. |

Have you gone to a sleep clinic/doctor about your insomnia yet? |

This will probably sound REALLY weird but it works for me... If there's a wall next to your bed, put yourself in a really weird possition sort of twisted around and upside down with your legs kind of, Umm... up the wall? if that makes sense. It gives a whole new perspective and helps relieve the anxiety. |

I have a friend that has the exact same problem. He can never get to sleep. I worry about him coz he also doesn't have the best life. He goes to doctors and has pills and everything and it doesn't help. I dont have the problem myself, but i know what it's like when i can't get to sleep for hours on end some nights. i wouldn't know what i would do if i could never get to sleep. i really hope you find a way to help you sleep. Good luck.. |

ok i know exactly what you mean and well the thing that helps me is listening to my cd player to music i can relate to or if that doesn't work just think yourself to sleep yeah it may be painful i know what it's like but sometimes once you get past thinking about that you'll have tired yourself out may not be the best method though but follow it if ya want and good luck |
