if 7/11...

if 7/11 is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year...why is there locks on the door?

~ hmmm...good question. I'm sure there could be some type of emergency where they would have to lock the doors....say that the only clerk in the store at say..3 o'clock in the morning gets a call that his daughter is in the hospital. He may not have time to wait until someone could get there to take over, so he would lock the doors and leave???

Maybe they just think that locks are cool....

i went to a 7-11 at 2 am today, and they were closed! it was crazy!!! i was so mad. they're not supposed to close, therefore locks should be unnecessary. the world is messed up.

we don't have a 7/11. :(

there aren't locks on the doors ever, you read that on the oxymoron's list didn't you? well that is why it is an oxymoron because saying "locks on a 7-11" is a contradiction. good one there.

I have been to a 7/11! When I went to Florida two years ago, we went three times for petrol, and once to ask for directions when we took 5 hours to get to the hotel, when it should have only have took 1 :]
and im gonna go again in a week wooo!
And enough about my holiday stories ... Yeah I guess they have too, in case like ... they want to have a lock in. Or if they HAVE to close, you can't leave it all unlocked.

I think the option about the giant pink elephants was the most realistic of all.. Anyhow, we don't have a 7/11 :'( How sad is that? =( This is it. I'm moving to america. You guys get all the fun =(

i live in the uk and dont even know what a 7/11 is but i'm guessing its like a 24hr shop thing right?!

We dont have them either...we have Irvings that are open all the time:)
