I'll go first with a riddle I heard on Batman, from the Riddler.

Riddle: What is the one question you can never answer yes to?

Answered by Kara !: Are you sleeping?

  • Chris

Lol, no. Most will say no, but saying yes "is" possible.

    Nice one though

ok i gots a riddle!!!!! last year my science teacher told us this one...it took us like 30 minutes to get it right!!!!!

there was a city who suffered greatly after a storm, all the power was out and what made everything worse was everything in the city was black!!! the cars were black, the houses were black, the streets were black, even the trees!!!! well on day a dude was driving down the road, and both of his headlights were out. And only a few yards away from him was a tree, and a pitch black dog jumped out in front of it, the dude driving swerved just in time to miss the dog.....how did he do it if everything in the city was black and his headlights were out?????

i hope this makes sense!!! lol

    XoXoXo

Hmm... ok... Either the tree wasn't black so he saw the jump infront of it... OR, the dog didn't actually jump INFRONT of the car at all, just infront of the tree, so the dude in the car wouldn't have hit it anyway?

  • Chris

It was daytime, he could see everything clearly.

Your dog fell in the river.
The current is taking him down river.
You run along the shore when you spot a bridge ahead.
    You run to the bridge.
On the bridge there is a ladder. a shirt and a bottle.

How would you get your dog out?

  • ~*JESSiE*~

stick the ladder in the water and....I DON'T KNOW!!!

  • Chelsey

You throw the bottle at the dog to knock him out so he won't feel you trying to scoop him up with the ladder...then you use the shirt for yourself to keep you warm incase some mist from the water hit you...MWAHH I have no idea

  • Jessica

~ umm....maybe leave all that junk up there and jump in and get your dog??? sounds logical to me....

  • Somber Esprit

Personally, I would just kneel on the bridge and grab the dog as he floats under...
Then maybe use the shirt to dry him :)

Some of you are close to the answer, but not quite.
    I'll answer it tomorrow.

    -------------------------------------------------------

Another one, a classic but goodie.

    1 lion, 1 goat, 1 bundle of hay, 1 boat for 2

You need to cross the rivers without going in the river.
Your boat can only fit you and one of the items (lion, goat, hay)

How do you cross the items to the other side without
the lion eating the goat , or the goat eating the hay?

ex: If you take the the grass first and leave the lion and the goat. The lion will eat the goat.

How do you cross the items to the other side without
the lion eating the goat , or the goat eating the hay?

  • Somber Esprit

ok. you take the goat over 1st, then go get the lion and take it to the other side, then you bring the goat back (so the lion and goat aren't together). You swap the goat for the hay, and take that to the other side, then last, you go back and get the goat again.??

    Here's one!

The man who builds it doesn't want it,
The man who buys it doesn't use it,
The one who uses it doesn't know it.
    What is it?

  • Kara !

I can't figure out that dog one.

  • Kara !

Two cops walked into a room with no windows and found a dead man who obviously hung himself from the ceiling, though they couldn't figure out how. There was no chair beneath him that he might have jumped off of, or a table. Just a puddle of water. How'd he do it?

Jaime answered right: Stood on a block of ice. It melted.

  • Allie

How does the "Do not walk on the grass" sign get in the middle of the grass?

  • Jaime

About the man that hung himself-- he used a block of ice right? Leaving the puddle when it melted.

  • ~*JESSiE*~

about the do not walk on grass thing....that is sooo easy!!!!!! aliens put it there with their ray thingy.....duh!!!

  • Kara !

Yep. Jaime was right about the hung man, ice thing.

I've no idea about that grass thing.

    30 - 2 =28
The 28th, 27th and 26th dollar got given back to the men... This left 25 for the hotel.

Or... it was taken out in tax, or GST (depending on which country they were in) ;)

  • Last Angel

the 9x3 shows what the men payed, $27 (including the $2 the bell boy took). The top $3 we're given back to the men. Your riddle counts the bellboys cut twice.

  • Chris

    Hard riddle, Loved it.

dollar number 26th, 27th and 28th were given back.
bellboy kept dollar number 29th and 30th

Stumped me for a few minutes. Very good one.
I'm going to have fun with this riddle. Thanks

    Oh i got one....

A man walks into a bar and sits on a stool...he asks the bartender for a glass of water..instead, he pulls out a gun...Why?

  • Chris

Who pulls out the gun, the bartender or the man?

I'm guessing it's the man, he is going to rob the place.

  • Kara !

    I've heard Chelsey-Lynn's one before.

The man has hiccups, and wanted a glass of water - but shock also cures them, hence the gun.
