If only I`d discovered this post sooner; i read through the riddles posted and knew all of them. Haha.. I could be beating all of you!! But I`ve got a great riddle, one that no one has ever actually gotten right before, so lets see how you do.

Jenn is facetious. She is also abstemious. She gets pneumonia. Given those clues, what is the only American tree she will like?

**answer will be posted in 24-48 hours**

Yes, thats the answer, but you cheated from the internet. Though I don`t really have proof of that, it`s word for word what the answer said on the site that I got that riddle from.

The Sequoia. She only likes words with all 5 vowels in them. The Sequoia is the only American tree that contains all 5 vowels.

    is that right??
    And i have a riddle:
How many birth days does the average man have?

    person below got it right:)

    wow... good one arwen!

    i have one...

A boy has only one light in his room. this light cannot be turned off with a switch or a plug of any kind. When the boy goes to bed however, the light is still on and he turns it off.

What is the light, and how does the boy turn it off?

Solved by Apathetic Soul- the sun, he closes the blinds.

  • Poetess Lana

wow, good job. it was the sun, and it was turning off by closing the blinds. i dont really like that riddle, because of the whole "closing blinds/turning off light" thing.

Mt Everest. just because it wasnt discovered doesnt mean it wasnt the tallest mountain in the world!

    another one....

You draw a deep breath. It is your first day on the new job. You had been worried sick for weeks before your new boss called you to say that you'd made it. Only one other person applied for the job, and she is not happy that she did not get it. It seems Fortune smiled on you, but not on her.

What was the name of the person who interviewed you?

    answer: "Fortune" Solved by Samantha

Riddles are so hard for me because I always find a different and logical answer.
    This is a popular one.

You're in a room. No Windows, no doors. All that's in the room is a mirror and a table. How do you escape?

  • Poetess Lana

you look in the mirror to SEE. you pull what you SAW out of the mirror and SAW the table in half. Two halves make a WHOLE and you climb out of the HOLE.

There is a man walking down the street, the street is all black, no lights are on, he is wearing black shoes, black clothes covering his whole body, and a black bellaclava (i cant spell that). A completely black car comes down the street, behind the man, without its lights on. The car stopped just before the man, without hitting him. How could this happen?

**I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense. I was told it the other day, and im not sure if i explained it right. I hope you understand it.**

  • Tammie

It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time. This little test should help you get started.

During a visit to a mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criteria is that defines if a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub. Then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask the patient to empty the bathtub."

    Okay, here's your test:
    1. Would you use the spoon?
    2. Would you use the teacup?
    3. Would you use the bucket?

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would choose the bucket, as it is larger than the spoon."
    What was the director's response?

    x Full 0f Illusi0ns x got it right!!!

"No," the director said, "a normal person would pull the plug."

    She is smart :]

This one is a bit harder.

A man who lived on the top floor of a twenty story building had to go up and down daily for work, and of course, for food and the other necessities. On most days he could only ride the elevator to the fifteenth story, and he would have to walk the rest of the way. When it rained, however, he could ride all the way up to the twentieth story. Why?

  • Hey Brittknee

OH MY GOSH! i've heard this one before!

eh it was something like he was really short but when it rained he had an umbrella so he could reach the button

ha cuz 20 floors would have a lot of buttons

    *ish glad i'm tall*

A man is walking down a road with a basket of eggs. As he is walking he meets someone who buys one-half of his eggs plus one-half of an egg. He walks a little further and meets another person who buys one-half of his eggs plus one-half of an egg. After proceeding further he meets another person who buys one-half of his eggs plus one half an egg. At this point he has sold all of his eggs, and he never broke an egg. How many eggs did the man have to start with?

  • Infected with His Deadly Love

    You are right >.<

    I just read this one.

7 eggs. The first person bought one half of his eggs plus one half an egg (3 1/2 + 1/2 = 4 eggs) This left him 3 eggs. The second person bought one-half of his eggs plus one half an egg, (1 1/2 + 1/2 = 2 eggs) leaving the man 1 egg. The last person bought one-half of his eggs plus one-half an egg, (1/2 + 1/2 = 1 egg) leaving no eggs.
    :]

P.S. I think we are on the same site, hehe.

  • Hey Brittknee
