DEFINE "LOVE"

Well, Dianne... this has been the subject of at least two other threads.... another one titled Define Love is on page 5 or 6 of this category...it has some good answers...

Simply put, I feel that love is the choice (yes, CHOICE) to put someone else's needs and happiness above your own.

I personally do not feel that the weak knees, butterflies-in-your stomach feeling is "love"... it is "attraction", "infatuation", and "lust"...

I do think you are right, in that, you can see the love that two people share (whether they are married, family or friends) in their eyes and their actions. I also like your last thought...about love being a weapon. And that ties in with my "love is a choice" thing.... we are supposed to love EVERYONE...and if we treated everyone like we loved them…this world would be a much better place....

Love is undescribable... It's something only those who have been or are in love feel.. and Know what it is...

To me love is when your heat skips a beat when you see them everyday. Love is when no matter what the other person does you will always stick by them.. Love is many things.. Different for some.. You just get this feeling inside when you see them...
