The saddest event of recent occurence on P&Q

Bob Shank (also Sluvious) has decided to leave Poems & Quotes. If you did not know this man or his work, you sincerely missed out not only on a legend but on an inspiration...

I'm very much saddened by his choice to leave, but he does state it is of personal belief and therefore I respect his decision.

However, I must be drawn to assume that someone/something on this site caused him to internally debate on the righteousness of his membership here.

So I guess this is a kind of plea...

Bob Shank was a beautiful encouragement, and the fact that anyone/anything could cause this site to become such a disappointment to him sickens me.

Please, let's all try to make this site a better place... Before all the good poets start leaving.

I'd like to keep this discussion to one thread, and although it is indeed sad, I think the message to members forum is more appropriate. Thank you for your concern about Bob Shank, I 100% agree with what you have to say, and any other members who'd like to mention how they will miss him, or how they'd like to see things move on in the manner he would have seen fit, please feel free to post in the following thread:
