Mucking around
and acting like a clown
dancing in the rain
laughing through the pain
friends for all of time
but deep down i wish that you were mine
and I'm dreaming about you
trying to construe
the way i feel
its so completely surreal!
whilst I'm thinking all these things
I'm subduing the pain they bring
because you love her
and though I pretend to concur
I really want you for me
I'm telling myself someday it will be
and I'll wait here forever
till that day when we'll be finally together.

Whisper

Her world, placed under dark wings
Wings that made the silent night sing
Her breath chilled like winter ice
Swirling madness inside her eyes

Every night a whisper comes near
muttering in her gullible ear
Join me, it says, with a hollow voice
There you'll find all your hidden joys

Whispers everynight, enchanting her in state
Thoughts tugged on her, as she sat to debate
Was she insane to hear all these voices
Did these whispers leave her without choices

Those sounds, those laughs haunting her
Till that bubbling blood began to stir
Becoming one with whispers of the night
Killing off her final living might

well, i have a little free time so i'm writin this while i'm goin. i doubt i'll do very well because of this, but i'd hate to inconvienience (spelling?) anyone.

Goodbye My Lover

I guess this is goodbye, although not in my heart,
Said you'd never leave me, yet now we are apart.
You said you'd love me until the day I die,
Promising never to hurt me, never to make me cry.

Look at us now, just two faces among the crowd,
Thought you loved me, but this was not allowed.
Now I sit here, alone crying in my bed,
Yet I can't get our image out of my head.

Goodbye my lover, this is now the end,
No more hanging out, no longer my best friend.
Goodbye sweetie, love you although you're gone,
Now I guess it's time, for me to just move on.

I remember a time, way back when we were young,
"We Belong Together" is what we always sung.
Now look at us, can't even talk anymore,
Yet you took my heart when you walked out the door.

Told me on the phone, how one day we'd be wed,
Now not a word spoken, all love has completely fled.
Can't get over, what you said to me that night,
Let me just say, you and I, never again will be alright.

Goodbye my lover, this seems to be the end,
Still can't believe I lost my very best friend.
Goodbye sweetie, love you though you're gone,
In my heart you'll always be there, but it's time to move on.

These are exciting titles, I think I'll chose one tomorrow and write it then. Look forward to it Arwen! (that rhymed)

Divine Love (I wish...)

I wish so hard that you could be
Right here, sitting next to me

I wish that you could take my heart
Keep it together from falling apart

I know my heart can't help itself
If it's not you, nothing else will help

I beg my eyes to look away
Without you, my skies seem so gray

You're etched in my soul, I can't erase you
A sketch in my mind, so pure and true

If everyone in the world had you for a best friend
Then peace would start and the war would end

If all of the world had love in your essence
Our time on earth would be well spent

And yet, barely anyone is lucky to have you
This love is so devine, and that's the truth

Something I can reach for
Someone I can console
A somebody for me
A warm hand to hold

If only in my sleep
I'm glad you're in my dreams
So special to me
My love that's from reality

(Foreword: This poem is about a delusional person, who when making a mistake, hears a voice telling them this)

Kill the Pain

Kill the pain,
lose your gain.

Kill your mind,
nothing you'll find

Take your soul,
let the funeral bells toll.

Watch the red
fall down like lead.

Cry in shame,
you're the one to blame.

End your life,
while holding a knife.

Looking out my window
At the moon lighting the sky
Wondering what it would be like
To be up that high

Could I fish for the stars
As they appear
And hide behind clouds
Diminishing all fear

Would an astronaut come to visit
That would be a sight
But it'll never happen
Cause I'm afraid of heights

Stolen Secrets

I picked up her diary
Not meaning to read
But then it got good
I suddenly felt the need

She wrote about a boy
Who she was crushing on
So i got this bright idea
Inside I knew it was wrong

I set down the diary
To think over my plan
And I knew that by tomorrow
He would never be her man

I got his attention
For most of the day
I could see the look in her eyes
I smiled, and walked away

I have stolen her secrets
And made them my own
But it didnt do any good
Cause now I'm all alone

Winter Wind

Icicles of stars,
Cold against the moon,
Swimming in the darkness,
Left to drown so soon,

Eyes look out in to the night,
Of blue, brown and green,
The moon dipped slighty black,
The slate is wiped so clean,

New beginning, old end,
Past is gone today,
Ice is spat onto the lake,
And trees stand ready to fray,

World is peeling from the heart,
In the wind from what's begun,
Direction of it's soul,
Tangled in web's been spun,

Senses aroused to the forest,
With it's frosted trees,
White spectacles of beauty,
And the eruption of the seas,

Frozen over until they're warmed,
But now it's all too late,
Glazed with eternal everythings,
Scarred with all this fate.

It's now 4 AM
and you still haven't returned;
can't sleep till you do.

Guys.
I know
all the lies
they cycle through;
I can sympathize--
why won't you realize,
I know what you want to do--
so get your head out of the clouds,
I need you to stop being so blind.

Each morning the sun decides to rise,
you think He does it just for you.
Well, I've spent most of my life
trying to keep you from
befriending some snake.
So this time I'll
just watch you
dance with
wolves.

Based on how you act
I think that mother should have
named you Eve instead.

Fallen Kingdom

Sitting upon my golden throne,
I feel the frost within my bones,
My ‘Midas touch’ has brought me gold,
But brought to ruins my mighty foal,
In which I rode into my glory,
And by my side it had no worry,
We struck the land with calm’s embrace,
We took to riding with little haste,
My horse the spell and I the caster,
She was my beast and I her master,
Now I’m king, and she’s the lost,
A golden horse I sold at cost,
One small touch and all was gone,
A simple pleasure gone so wrong,
Needed, wanted, sold and got,
My ‘Midas touch’ Didn’t mean a lot

If you lose you’re one true calling,
You will see a kingdom falling,
Crumble in its broken dreams,
Drowning in a wretched stream,
For even if you are a king,
You’ll always miss the simplest thing

incase you dont get it, i was trying to use a medievel example of a horse and king to show how people in modern society care so much about getting to top that they forget about what makes them happy...anyhoot, there ya go...talk to you all later...your friend al
