Demon of Darkness

My name is Darkness
And Im the Demon of it
I haunt your dreams
I sit in your closet
I wait for the right time
To sneak up beside you
To climb up on your bed
And whisper your death
In your ear
Playing with this knife
Slicing across your skin
For every sin you've done
Cutting deeper
For the ones you caused pain too
Dont be afraid
You wont see me coming
My skin is slimey
And my eyes are webbed over
And my 9 inch nails
Would be glad to sliver across your skin
Cutting in deeper and deeper as it crosses
I come in an instant
You wont see me
Turn to the wall
As you fall asleep
And you wont see it coming
So watch out for your sins
And the ones you hurt
I'll make my visit
And they'll find you bloody in your bed
And they'll know it was
Demon of Darkness

~The Great Battle~

In the battle between heart and mind,
the winner's depicted by the man inside.
By the unknown presence in all of us,
the sole thing that we can always trust.

It's a combination of both conscience and soul,
Begins when you're born, stays til' you're old.
It's an invisible ora, weightless in fact,
it is who we are, in some it's abstract.

It shows us the way, guides us through trouble,
allows us to get up and climb out of the rubble.
It hides away, in a subconscious state,
when we don't let it out, it generates hate.

It's what makes us unique, though we all have one,
it is made up of nothing and cannot be undone.
It's a metaphor for our meaningless existence,
it tries to come out, yet recieves much resistance.

Run away from your problems, but never your soul,
it is the one thing that makes your life whole.
Keep on the right path, let your conscience run free,
for if you do not, you will end up like me.

Thoughts of Murder

Sitting still on cold night
Wondering who will be next
Watching as people walk by

Loving couples all around
It disgusts me
Why should they be happy

As I look for my prey
I spot a young man
Perfetly delightful

He is going to die tonight
He does not see me coming
I follow in the shadows

Lurking behind him
Watching his every step
He stops at a house

As he rings the bell
A young girl walk out
Shivers run down my spine

Two for one I see
This is going to be fun
Lets get it started

They stop at a bench
Sitting and holding hands
What pathetic humans

I take the knife out of my pocket
I slowly make my way toward them
Here we go, the show of a life time

I walk behind the girl and slit her throat
The boy sits, shocked
Damn, he ruined the chase

I turn to him and pull out the sting
Wrapping it around his neck
Nice and tight, perfect

He starts to plead
Oh I love this part
Crying over his lost lover

He looks up at me
He sees no mercy
When he looks in my eyes

Only pain and suffering
Too bad for him
If only he helped me when he could

But no, I am just the ex-girlfriend
Oh well, too late
He is dead, as I am smiling

Oh these thoughts of murder
Make it so much fun
Lets do it again

Black Roses

Encrypted in your lack of morality,
This passionate brutality.
So rough, so gentle,
With butterflies on your lips,
Your touch sentimental
My sanity can't come to grips.
You set alight this fire
Thirst from the core,
Your devious smile
Leave my emotions running raw.

This lust my body contains,
Fed by this poison, drips attached to my veins
Through your thorns pierced in my skin.
So rough, so gentle,
Your grasp from within.
My origami paper heart
Weak from bittersweet intimacy.
This ironic game,
From pleasure to shame
Has stained both our souls.

You left these black roses
On my doorstep when you went away,
Death's kiss farewell
Until we meet, another day.
