Burning Heaven

Rebellious thoughts swarm tonight
As angels ready for their fight
Black paint drips from their face
Leaving behind those holy days

Like a flock of arrows, they attack
God's forces held them back
But his powers wavered from the years
Final destruction lingered near

The Earth and the air trembled in fear
People watched as fire started to appear
The glowing sky filled in a bloody red
Eyes gazed upon heaven's dread

Finally Heaven is burning down
One by one, feathers fall to the ground
All the hate and resentment falls through
A new era of rules have been drew

Oh burning heaven, your lack of attention
Has caused us pain and your destruction
The end of the world is now here
Let us bow before it's wrathful fear

Wings of crystal on the shelf,
With a trumpet held to her lips,
But no sound has evolved,
In the silence of eclipse,

I marveled at her beauty,
And held her across my frame,
She's cold but beauty still remains,
Is her soul forever maimed?

I felt a tear hot down my cheek,
As a scream split the scene,
My angel of the night,
Shattered through the dark so clean,

Murderer I thought,
You killed her only chance,
Mother wept and father hit,
They began the sorrowed dance,

She's only of glass I thought,
As they put her back to sleep,
Her icy head carved so real,
For then I began to weep,

Blackened days I wondered,
Why everyone hates from glass,
Creaking into the ground,
Beneath the greenest grass.

Black Roses

Standing calmly at her balcony with a face painted white
Black cloak drawn taut slips from her shoulder with ease
She gazes wonderingly deep into the shadows of night
Past her withering garden of shattered love and memories

The moonlight outlines the statues of old, fallen heroes
And off into the shadows where her lifeless husband lays
A pair of entwined black roses full of melancholy grows
Marking the punishment of sinful lovers for all days

His wedding vows rest broken; “until death do us part…”
For now he and his paramour settle together breathless
His widow stands disorientated with an overcome heart
Her stubborn mind disbelieving as black roses caress

I swear you’d feel the same before it was done.
I love you, yet not a chance I get?
Each night my pillow is soaking wet.

Tears fall down each time I think of you,
How all of a sudden you just said “ado”.
How you were through with me before we began,
How for you I’ve begged and ran.

Ran to you, begging for just a chance,
For you to take me hand as our shadows dance,
But no. Now you turned your back,
Left me alone in the stormy black-

Night. Do I honestly have any chance at all?

Night of Sin

You knew it wasn't right from the start
as you climbed on top; took the reins away
the look in your eyes I can not earase
that empty loving glare

You reached for my lips; cold and stiff from fear
wispered not to say a word; no one would believe it
your hand slid down to my chest
soon my top hit the floor boards

You took your time with every move you made
as if the power and control was satisfying alone
yet you kept going; nothing would stop you now
as I felt the cool air against my legs
I could see the disgusting twinkle
everytime you attempted to wink

You were motivated with every moan
though I could tell you hated yourself too
you saw the pain filling my entire body
but no hesitation was ever shown

After what seemed like eternity in my mind
you climbed down; leaving me completely empty
I have never been so glad to see your back
as those moments when you walked out of that door

there's no escaping the feelings
you instilled in me that night
my heart is now filled with hatred
as I can no longer look in a man's face

I know your not happy with yourself
you refuse to look at me; touch me
I can not say I am disappointed
because I do not wish to see you again
hopefully you have learned a lesson
that you will never again put another girl through a night of sin

End Of Eternity

Take a look at that man running so blind
everytime i see him, he stares back at me
something must be wrong in his mind
or may be he is just trying to run from reality

Look at that man pretending to be so nice
with all that fake smile all around his face
and the tears he hides paying the price
for it seems as if he has lost his life's race

Did you notice that man with a bleeding chest?
seems as if he is searching for something somewhere
digging inside his own flesh to find the remaining best
of the words he ever uttered as his last prayer

Could you see him falling within his own eyes
he has been like this since the end of eternity
wonder why only i could hear his silent cries?
may be only he knows what its like to be me

sitting on a stump of a cold dead tree
holding a soft white bloom kept from spring
the ice angel watches her frost covered forest

silver white hair on a youthfulbody
blue tinted skin that never shivers
covered in useless thin silk
blowing and pressing her body

alone on her lowly throne
she waits, thinking of a fire lord
one who will bring in color
to her colorless eyes.

~Stranded~

A relationship bound by the court,
two parents yearning to abort.
One child's postpartum deport,
a life, from the start, out of sorts.

The help of two elders, they sought,
a custody battle, never fought.
Drug addict parents, got caught,
important lessons, never taught.

A baby that was left behind,
consequences of a legal bind.
A lifestyle of a different kind,
viewpoints from a distorted mind.

A family separated by years in time,
a life with a different rhythm and rhyme.
Two people, making up for another's crime,
always living off of their last dime.

A difficult situation from the start,
a unique picture, of an unpopular art.
A family, nearly torn apart,
two grandparents, certainly, off the charts.

An unwanted boy, now full grown,
held together by seams, left un-sewn.
Approaching life with a whole different tone,
hoping, some day, to live life on his own.
