Here She Lies (Epitaph)

Here she lies not making a sound,
soon to be quietly resting under ground.
A wonderful mother and amazing wife,
now has went to heaven for eternal life.

Puzzling

I woke up this morning.
It's been six months
that I've had that puzzle
laying out on the table...

I started by pouring
all the pieces from my heart.
I'll confess there's an art
to sifting through the gaps
and Lord knows there's no lack
of holes in my spirit-
parts missing of my soul-
and all that I'm left with
is my final goal:

to complete this damn puzzle
that I had started alone,
the one that you messed up
and, for reasons unknown,
stole the final piece,
the one I kept
at the deepest of depths;
I can only hope
I'll find a replacement one yet.

But I know if I see you
that you'll silently smile
as you watch me realize
what you knew all the while:
the piece that is missing
you didn't steal, but received;
I wanted to blame you,
but the fault lies with me.

So by the end of the day
I'll lay back in bed,
shivering and shaking
from the cries in my head:
that the puzzle of hearts
that I'd foolishly begun
will never be finished,
will never be done.

Haunted

Along the road that echoes our memories,
A melody chimes in the back of my mind.
Innocence: the journey you take all makes sense;
Tracing my steps to get out of your bind.

I can’t help but remember holding you tight
Beneath the cherry trees that wept their pink tears.
Sakura, don’t cry under the broken sky,
We knew it wouldn't last over the years.

Wind vainly lifts dead petals up through the air,
My heart pines for a sip from those lips of wine.
An eternity passes in mere seconds;
Emotions and reality entwine.

I awake from my dream with glassy eyes
Though nothing but silence shall watch me weep.
I stare at the road I still recognize,
Filled with thoughts that still haunt me while I sleep.

Life-Sentence

Tile floor?
There was tile floor that evening.
And the mirror?
I could not fall through glass.
The reflection staring back could not be me.
Too pale with brown freckles standing out.

Trembling lip.
Wide blue eyes.
Deep.
Scared.
Black lines around.
An ocean of nausea washed over me,
Threatening to engulf my body.

Tile floor!
Cold as I fell to my knees.
Hands wrapped around my chest.
Rocking back and forth to calm breathing.
Fast breathing...
Pounding headache.

"Please let me leave." I whispered.
Under my breath I continued to beg.
Something was crawling in my stomach.
I could feel hands on me.
Not mine.

"Stop touching me." I whispered.
Crying without anyone to hear.
Not a soul was there besides me,
But in my mind there he stood.

Dizzy?
Was that what I was,
When I was able to make myself stand.
Nervous that I would feel it again?
Experiance another intense flashback?

Was this my life-sentence
for a crime I had not committed?

Starlight Night (Reprise)

Starlight night
shining ever so bright
take my hand
by the calmness of the moonlight

As we walk
hand in hand
I ask you this
as you look at the stars

Will you be mine?
I know I've waited a long time
come with me
I have something to show

Sit here in the ever so soft
light of the night
look at the stars reflection on the water
as I seek you with this soft melody of mine

I glance at you
as you look at me
our eyes meet
and we can't separate

I start to play that soft melody of mine
as you sit and sip your wine
we start to intertwine

your warmth next to me
listening to the sea
I can't help but to agree
This is the place to be

you make me feel so right
on such a beautiful night
being here with you
is such a delight

As I turn to look you in the eyes
you say "you are not like all the other guys
that people speak of
you are one of a kind."

~Postpartum Deport~

A relationship bound by the court,
two parents yearning to abort.
One child's postpartum deport,
a life, from the start, out of sorts.

The help of two elders, they sought,
a custody battle, never fought.
Drug addict parents, got caught,
important lessons, never taught.

A baby that was left behind,
consequences of a legal bind.
A lifestyle of a different kind,
viewpoints from a distorted mind.

A family separated by years in time,
a life with a different rhythm and rhyme.
Two people, making up for another's crime,
always living off of their last dime.

A difficult situation from the start,
a unique picture, of an unpopular art.
A family, nearly torn apart,
two grandparents, certainly, off the charts.

An unwanted boy, now full grown,
held together by seams, left un-sewn.
Approaching life with a whole different tone,
hoping, some day, to live life on his own.

Where'd you Go

Where'd you go, I'm all alone,
I can't stand, to be on my own.
Where are you, please come back,
Without you here, my life is black.

You and I, used to be friends,
Thought we would be until the end.
Then I fell in love with you, everything changed,
Now you don't talk, and make me feel deranged.

Why you got to do that? All I wanted was love,
You became so important, placed you above-
everyone else. Now I'm alone again,
Miss how we used to be way back then.

Where'd you go? I'm all alone,
When without you, I'm cold as stone.
Where are you, please come back,
But your feelings for me now lack.

Used to be that you, and me could just talk,
Sometimes even go on a casual walk.
Once you found out, you never talked anymore,
Didn't even care when I cried outside the door.

Didn't care when you saw me, dying inside
Doesn't matter to you how much I've cried.
Don't care I got your back, don't care about anything,
All of a sudden to you, I mean nothing.

Where'd you go, I'm all alone,
I miss hearing, your voice on the phone.
Where are you, please come back,
When you need me, to pull you out of the crack-

It Still Lives

Bound to every limb by shackles of fear
Darkness swirls and holds me near
Penetrate walls of cascading tears
Washed out by pain through all these years

Mourn death for all it's miserable content
Discovering a side I myself resent
Bleeding heart and a strong soul bent
While whisper of dreams silently chant

Fallen angels pile around my feet
Their shattered wings lay nice & neat
A revolution ending in their defeat
Cruelty and hate, that's how they meet

One Opinion sets the wrath in place
Ready for rivalry's bitter taste
War fires out in Ominous haste
Bodies lie upon forsaken waste

Dread and hatred still live in me
Ever since those days of cruelty
happiness lost to eternity
Wishing the will for lasting harmony

Sitting at a small desk
With nothing but a candle
To light the room

Crying over her notebook
Tears of deep sorrow
The young girl has lost her love

He left the party
With that other girl
Her sad eyes try to focus on the paper
As she writes out her story

He will never know how much he hurt her
She loved him and always will
She saw them together

It wasn't fair, she wanted him
She had to sit back and watch
As they danced and kissed

It will never happen again
She followed the boy home
And waited for him to fall asleep

Making her way up to the bed
She pulled out a knife and slit his neck
Crimson blood ran down
Onto his silk sheets

Now back home in her room
Crying tears for her lost lover
Knowing if she can't have him
Nobody can

I didn't know existed.

i couldn't decide between my best explicit-erotic poem or explicit-profanity/dark....so i decided to go with erotic since it might not be so offensive.

My Man

Tangle your strong hands in my hair
Kiss my neck with those sugar lips
Touch me here, touch me there
Slide your hands down to my hips

Lift my dress up over my head
Whisper I love you into my ear
Carry me over, lay me on the bed
No one is home, nothing to fear

I love knowing that you are my man
You feel so good, it must be a sin
Let me undress you as fast as I can
I want to lick the salt from your skin

Starting to moisten, now I am ripe
Your fingers wander, holding the key
Wrap my hand around your pipe
Hard and thick for no one but me

Breath is becoming louder and faster
This is my favorite time to vent

Strike Of Reality

I could have sworn I saw it
I know it was in sight
The glossy beam of a pastel dazzle
Shining down as perpetual sunlight

Thoughtless beliefs lead us to suppose
It was unending
Adoring every second of the warm reflection
The sun was sending

It was merely shine, not a bead of rain
Had ever fell on my skin
The twinkle I engaged quickly absorbed
Happily relentlessly within

Sadly, nothing goes on forever
Even the mild sun that had always lit
I was fooled by believing in ever-lasting happiness
I was yet to know what will hit

Child, come across that day your
Blinded by deceit
Not observing its blurred presence
You dimly attempt to defeat

Suddenly, with no warning
The light turned its lever
Like a mid-day solar eclipse
That will go on forever

You're clueless on what's yet to end
Your endless dream
What's yet to vanish your joy
Which was caused by that happiness beam

You close your eyes
An unexpected flash of lighting falls from the sky
Claiming all the delight, Every piece of joy
In which you have called "mine"

As you open your eyes again
And try to uncover your miserable face
You find yourself in a spot uncalled for
A whole different place

Dark eyes whom don't dare to take a
Glance at your remains
Who have gone missing after the dark storm
Finding whole different lanes

Alone in a place surrounded by souls
Who before loved you but now only show hate
You wonder why this is all you receive
After following and believing in fate

Keep on crying, keep on weeping
The closest thing you want to do besides die
Watching those saddening tears
Falling down from those innocent eyes

You wish for the sun to come back
To place its light on you again
Impossible to make-believe its still there
Unattainable to pretend

You have no other alternative
But to reside with the sorrow on all sides
Or to do your best to escape from the darkness
Bravely attempt to eternally hide

Abruptly, everything swiftly flashes in front of you
The happiness before the deceit
The joy you have always acclaimed
The contentment that won't repeat

Rest, unwind, just lay and try to force
A forever-lasting sleep
Besides the flow of tears streaming from the guiltless eyes
That cry an unjust dismaying weep

Falling deeper into that dark black hole.
Thoughts of life are racing inside her mind,
Forcing her to leave herself left behind.

Trapped inside a hurtfull world she calls life,
Reaching for some support without the knife.
Pleading to the sky above, Please no more,
Questions left unanswered just like before.

Insanity strikes when the lightening hits,
Her worst crime of all she's soon to commit.
As the crystal clear rain falls from the sky,
She drowns in her sins and says a goodbye.

Wired Skin of Drinking Straws

Asbestos eyes and death breathe mist
The midgets gazed and hissers hissed
With craned up necks and speckled flecks
Of the frayed edged parchment of the hex

Her nose was upturned slightly with an air
Of snobbery, carried with out a care
For she was dainty as a whor
With wired skin of drinking straws

She once carried dresses of stiff polka dots
And travelled to Paris with her book of snapshots
Her hair would rustle and her washing line dance
With odd socks and vests and striped underpants

But once a man, with a pasted moustache
Kissed her and caressed her preened eyelash
And it was like she was cartwheeling around and around
As if she was squealing without making a sound

Her lily was strangled, her youth taken too fast
She tried to ignore the hex of her past
But the rain came and the concrete heaved
Past stained tissues and snot filled sleeves

The polka dots faded and the panty hose ripped
She soon became a failure-burnt out and wrinkle lipped
Her eyes turned from honey rivers to glass
This the façade she carries, her Viennese mask
