when is the time when a poet can write a perfect poem?

day
night
when you are sad
when you are happy

Whatever time feels most natural, it is different for everyone.

for me it's at night when I'm sad

Whenever I feel like writing a poem...

somewhere between 12:00 am and 11:59 pm. But never during the 1 minute between 11:59 pm and 12:00 am. That's minute has some really umm bad mojo. lol

I read somewhere that the best poetry ever written (whoever judges that one) was written after ten o'clock at night.

Well for me I sometimes write little things, all through out the day.. maybe a line or 2 and then go on placing them together..adding and changing things.. maybe take a day maybe take a few days.....

I never know but sometimes it just feels like it is going to come out.

well, for me its when im sad, angry, n feel like i have no other way to express myself, when im happy i rly find no reason to write a poem...

I write when I can't say what I want to. E.g. If I am feeling sad but I can't explain to people in words why... I do it in a poem.

Sometimes I am sitting down doing something and I get a title for a poem come into my head...
