I wasn't really sure where to put this but something has really annoyed me tonight. I was reading through some comments on my poems, and found that a couple of times, people had commented twice. Each time saying what a great poem it was. Sorry, but if it was as good as you say, why did you forget and comment twice? If you really didn't think my poem was good, please don't say it is. I won't break down in tears. It does not bother me. If you don't like my poem, fair enough. Don't be as shallow as to say a poem is good when it is not memorable. |

It annoys me that people would comment twice and say that they like a poem when they clearly don't. What doesn't bother me is the fact that they didn't like it. |

Sarah, when there are two identical comments (especially right in a row), then the person probably hit the submit button twice. if you want to get rid of one of the commments, then simply hit the "complain" button on one of them. |

These comments are not identical. They have been submitted on different days. Sometimes, even changing their opinion slightly, showing that they have not given it any serious thought. |

It might just be that they have read the poem before, but thought they didn't comment on it, but in most cases I seriously doubt it. |

The only comments I really like on my poems are the ones that say "It's good but..." |

I hate that too! When people just say 'great job! well done 5/5', just so that they get return comments. Those comments are useless and don't help at all. I never read anyone's poems who has put something like that on my poems. The comments I like are ones when they actually say what was good and bad about my poem and tell me how to improve. |
