Don't Leave!!!!!

All you guys don't have to leave,
in time the site will be retrieved.
Just wait, give the site a break,
because leaving is a big mistake.

We need all the help we can get,
if we try, we all can get through it.
Give the site a chance, come on,
you've been dedicated for so long.

This site has given us much joy,
it's still alive, not yet destroyed.
But if we leave, it will surely go,
then what will we have to show.

Best poetry site on the internet,
nobody has even come close yet.
Don't leave because of immaturity,
everything contains impurities.

If the moderators ever bother you,
ask them exactly what did you do.
Once they tell you, have respect,
for that is one thing we neglect.

Allow yourself to just sit back,
don't try to pick up others slack.
Be the member you want to be,
just chill out, that is the key.

^ It's the truth! Don't leave. More and more people are leaving and soon this site will have fallen. We all need to work together to make the site better. Things are definitely changing, but that doesn't mean you should give up..

I don't Want to leave, and I'm not gonna permantly leave cause I love poetry too much and I've got friends on here. True, It IS the best poetry site and I love it to death. But recently, I just need a break from EVEryone and Everything. I've tried to help, I've voiced my opinion, and in return, I only wish for respect and understanding. If something isn't done, I say there should be an age limit in this site or some kind of thing that asks you to write about Why you want to join.

Maybe we all need a break. Maybe it's not worth it to try and voice our opinions and make things better. Everyone who is leaving and giving up, is making others want to do the same. It's sad when you look back to how the site used to be. I remember when i first joined about a year and half ago. I loved it..now..i don't know what to think..

That is deep Sean, I like it, And agreed with it, don't give up, hang in there, and make a positive impact on the site rather than a negitive. Work together, post in the Disscusions on how to make the site a better place. And remember never stop smiling. :)

I respect the mods and know that it's not the mods that control this site, it's us members. If we can make all the Members come together in one group and solve problem to problem and get rid of people who only joined to criticize, Then I'll be happy

Yes, this place is a home to me and I don't blame the mods for anything. I've already sent Janis emails. If he gets alot, maybe he'll pay more attention.

Yes, a nice poem. But, its the persons choice to leave. Believe it or not, people at this site, can 'get to you'. Immaturity, doesn't even begin to start with it. And he is right, the mods are here to protect us, so why disrespect them? It's pointless really.

Hello Jenn my wife, You are right Immaturity does run this site. I deleted all my poems (which hurt me so bad) and everything exept for one quote. I will not post anymore until all of this has been taken care of and you all know what I mean by that. I will continue to watch what is going on and believe me I see everything that is going on and I save everything that has been deleted. One person can destroy this site. I came here to write poetry and make a few friends and I have. I have been punished enough times for things that are so unbelievable I can not take it anymore. Wow... another thread about people leaving. The more I read on these forums, the more I realise there are people on them who should read them less.

Lol you are right this is just a website and SOME PEOPLE have nothing better to do then to try to contol a site that doesnt even make any profit. I loved this site but some people are way to power hungry and think that being a mod is a second job even though they are not getting paid and will have know use out of it in the real world. Most mods on here think of this as a hobby and that is good, they dont take things personaly and can have a life. But there is always that one person who go to far with their "power" of banning and kicking and so on. The site owners know their problem and they must get rid of it, making that person into a mod didnt really help lol. OH and you really think in 3 weeks their will be a court? I mean lets just push aside the murders and rapist aside that have been waiting for their court order for over a year just so the trial of Poems and Quotes can solve their issue. Ahh Criminal Justice got to love it lol.
