Killing Words

It was the last day
I would ever see you
But I didn't know that

You told me you would be back
I couldn't wait to go back
To see you again

I missed you so much
I knew in my heart
You didn't miss me

I didn't care if you did
I was so excited
Summer had finally come

I got to go see you again
But you weren't there
You left my heart broken

Every year I had to leave
The only reason I was alive
Was because I got to see you again

Not this time though
I payed nine hundred dollars
To go back to that camp

I was to stay for two weeks
I hated being there every year
I only came back for you

You were didn't show
I wanted to leave the first night
But I wasn't aloud to go

I stayed for days hoping
You would show up
But you never came

I left the fourth day
I went back home
Crying the whole way

Your word had left me broken
I lived for you
But you weren't around

Your awful lies killed me
I went home that night
To cry alone in my room

I wanted to end the pain
I didn't want to be here anymore
It wasn't fair to keep me alive

Without you, I am nothing
I took my life for you
I knew you hated me

I fixed the problem
I took my life thanks to you
I slit my wrists one last time

If only you didn't tell me
You would see me again
I would have been gone a year ago

I should thank you
For your killing words
You set me free

An Angel came one morning,
A visit he did pay.
That angel took my baby,
And tore my heart away.

So innocent was my baby,
An angel in my eye.
My baby didn't whimper,
Only gave a little sigh.

I truly love that baby,
More than words could ever say.
Lord, why did that angel come,
And take my baby away?

The answers, I will never know,
For it is your chosen way.
I know my baby's in heaven,
Safe in your arms, I pray.

Lord, help me to see that light,
So that I may understand.
And when I see my babe again,
It is in your promised land.

Hush my little angel
For I will hold your hand
You sleep so still and peacefully
A world beyond this land

Devil's Heart

I stand alone fearfully awaiting
the cold loss of my burning soul
I made a pact with the darkest prince
for the life of my purest love

My small pink baby will grow ever large
just as a child of any other
she will have a long full life,
just without her cursed mother

to save my baby from certain death
ive given my soul to the devil
and now i await the coming of him
with the sharp horns and tail

Seeing a dark man shrouded in shadows
i know he has come to snatch me from me
his black nails, attched to red fingers
curl and run through my hair as i shiver

he pulls me away from the earth so green
into the shadows of his brimstone world
laying me down on his fiery bed, i see
the golden gleam of his intense eyes

tonight i have learned which i could never
the devil's heart, his soul is mine to own
my baby is safe, and i love for all eternity
in the fiery depth of hell, heaven

I havent been on here lately but am sad to see not many poems written, i will leave it another week, please try and get more in.

6) Distant powers

A murmur from the quaking hills,
That bleeds through every crack,
Thundering from clouded tops,
To the surface where we lack,

Shaking of the fire's ember,
As they fly into the stars,
Licking at the leafy green,
Igniting flaming scars,

Bird hollors in the space,
The time he spreads a wing,
Feathered bodies lain dead,
It's the end of everything,

Trampeling hooves pack the soil,
From the twists in blackish mane,
Fear of all that's in the past,
Our world "Forever maimed,"

Adam and Eve joined two in two,
Never shall thou part,
With but a souless faith,
The end shall only start,

Crippled demolishing scenes,
With babies wrapped in blood,
A new morn is not to bring,
For more tears are yet to flood.

*this went in slightly more directions then I originally intended, but I still like it

The wrists that you slit
are nothing compared
to the bed sores that you'll get
But then
You're used to lying on your back
Lying in compliance
with your mother's favorite act
& daddy never cared at all
He left you alone in this hospital
"The doctors will make her better"
He said, "The doctors will make her better.
We just have to be patient."
Well, the doctors are understaffed
& the nurses underpaid
When the staff's away
Staff infection's a plague
We just have to be patient
It's all they'll let us be
Wait it out & take it
& I'm still waiting
We're the hospital patients
We outnumber them
We'd rise & take it over
without these Thorazine injections
Keep you numb & jaded
in your daily routines
Try this new dance - Catatonic -
